morons lol, always wondered if in the past my car had failed on the fact the mot testers werent up to their job

Get this:

Β

I booked my car in for the brakes checking because I had a slight leak on one line somewhere at the caliper and needed the steering gaiters changing then an MOT after.

The twats called me to say it had failed so I went to collect it to find they hadn't had time to do the jobs I'd asked so just did the MOT... and it failed on brakes and gaiters! FFS I went mental.

After lots of arguing with an 80 year old git who said it was all too complicated for her and not her problem, I left with a refund and never went back!

i remember taking one of my old bmw's for an mot, they failed it on steering rack and quoted me on a price something daft like Β£600, so i took it to another garage for an MOT and it failed on a worn tie rod ball joint, there was nothing wrong with the rack  so always get a second opinion
