  1. LOL It was overfueling before it went in. Needs mapping as one of the Dutch guys modified a standard 555 chip to get it running roughly with the Doolz twin intake but it was never right and Thor had a quick tweak of the SAFC on the rolling road to get it running a bit smoother. Since changed to twin MAFs but it's running the same chip and SAFC settings. When I get the clutch on it would be good to have a play with your Zemulator or whatever it is you've got ;)
  2. It's just started up here so you can hardly see it on the car :hyper:
  3. A few years ago everyone was using the Blitz progressive springs like I have. Are they not available anymore? I don't think they were too expensive.
  4. Guess what? Mine were missing when I got the car back from you know where! Used some red liquid gasket for 2 of them and it's been fine but I keep forgetting to replace them. Just ordered quite a few bits from MJP and everything was in stock and arrived the next morning at a bargain price. Excellent service! :nana2: Shame I forgot about these O rings LOL
  5. http://www.takakaira.com/ Some very good stuff on there including some wierd body kits. I've ordered off them years ago but shipping costs are quite high and takes a while.
  6. What you need is a nice big Camel Spider :D
  7. Good idea Mark! :) :nana2: for once ;)
  8. If you've not got any O rings then you'll almost certainly have a boost leak and the car will run like s**t! Liquid gasket will probably be OK but you'd be better getting the rings from MJP or Nissan.
  9. Mike Groves is the man you need ;)
  10. If it's over fueling a boost controller isn't really a good idea. You need to get it running correctly first or you could end up damaging something.
  11. Oh I'm sure you would ;)
  12. Havent seen her around in ages
  13. Clear blue sky up here in North Yorks :( Hoping for some snow tomorrow...
  14. I just changed the fronts as he wasn't selling the rears but I might do them in future. Most of the braking is on the front anyway. Not sure what size the disks are I just used the standard R33 disks he gave me with them and I've not had to change yet...
  15. Either R33 or R34 but R34 will need drilling by the sound of things where R33 just bolt on with the correct bolts. I got mine for £350 including almost new disks but £250 is a good price. The guy had spent £4K on an AP Racing kit for his Skyline and said he didn't notice any difference on the road but was intending to do track days.
  16. Aaah yes mine are R33 GTR... I thought R34 were the same. Don't think there's much difference in the calipers themselves to look at - but the R33 do just bolt straight on so probably much easier. They make a HUGE difference - the car stands on it's nose when I brake hard and I can easily lock the wheels up which I could never do before. I've never got them to fade at all on the road but on the Nurburgring the fluid boiled LOL
  17. Yes sounds like the PTU is faulty. They usually fail when hot and often work again when cooled down. There's a series 2 part that doesn't fail but don't buy it from Nissan they want about £400 for it!
  18. I'm on a classic policy with Chaucer through Houghton Insurance as a 2nd car limited to 3000 a year, doesn't use my no claims and I have LOTS of mods declared for £340 :)
  19. You need the Skyline bolts and they just go straight on :) I got mine with the calipers so dead easy.
  20. Is that so you can got out in the fake beast and get all the admirers? ;)
  21. Oh yeah I forgot yours was an SE build :) He did know his stuff just a shame it took so long every time. There's something about building Z engines that ruins businesses LOL Mine was at Grasshopper a year and they went bust half way through the job
  22. I was begining to think he wouldn't get it back but it was worth the wait :)
  23. It certainly was, it was one of the ones I always dreamed about but never thought I'd have. Years later and tens of thousands down the pan here I am LOL LOTS of cars spent a long time in SE's car park, that's why he's not trading anymore LOL Mac's car was the last good ones out of there really :(
  24. When he asked if you wanted to try a wide arse you should have known he was having a laugh!
  25. Yes I was having a giggle at the upgrade prices too! Mind you I used to pay them and explains how I spent so much more than I needed to these days :( How prices have dropped. Everything in SE's catalogue used to be 4 figures LOL Can anyone save the file off YouTube for me to mpeg or something? I used to have a browser addon to do it but it stopped working :(
