  1. They're fine but I'd go for a 285 on the rear it's a more common size so might even be cheaper.
  2. I've had a read of the DVLA info and it doesn't seem to state where number plates must be mounted other than the front and rear of the vehicle...
  3. What software do you use to do these? Photoshop? :o Would love one of mine mate :)
  4. I think most of the dash has to come out but some have done it a different way and there's some write ups if you do a search. I've heard its a bit easier on an auto as there's no clutch pedal in the way.
  5. Sure is! I need an 800bhp mirror polished engine and 6 speed sequential box if anyone has one knocking about. There's a pint in it for ya! :D
  6. Yeah they're related to spiders and scorpions but have bigger fangs and 10 long hairy legs :o I think Mac has one? He's got a big scary collection of spiders and scorpions. Nuts!
  7. Does the ConZult do all the same tests as the built in diags? Here: http://www.ttzd.com/tech/autocctech.html Sounds like a sensor problem or maybe an airlock in the system. Chris.
  8. LOL  They were in fact a good Christian company. Your money was handed over and you got nothing in return apart from the satisfaction of knowing it had helped the poor. The grease monks did a great job considering they were working for charity and like the monasteries of ancient times, their place of work was closed down by the authorities
  9. Def heater matrix :( It's near the clutch pedal i think but quite a job to get out. Got to do mine so I know the feeling
  10. Do the job properly and get a braided fuel line kit from Smithy, dead easy and far less to go wrong as it removes a load of joins :)
  11. Hmmm I don't think they've fitted it far enough back but it would be a nightmare to get it changed. It doesn't look bad in most of the pics and you certainly won't notice it from the rear which is what most people will see :D When I look at mine closely I spot all sorts wrong - the front bumper almost touches the wheel on one side but not the other because it's a crap fibreglass moulding. When I jack the car up and the wheel drops it lodges on the bumper but you'd never know unless I told you  Also the scoops in the rear arches are wonky on one side and my headlight panel never seems to line up with the bonnet perfectly  but... When it passes you at 185mph it looks awesome :D  :nana2:
  12. Cheers Si, I take that as a big compliment coming from the forum nit-picker LOL That was at the North East / Yorks Rolling Road day last weekend. Lots of pics in the events section. I haven't been out in it for months but decided to drag it out with no tax and a knackered clutch :x: Was worth it for the smile I had when one of the Skyline owners came over and said "What's that?! That's one phatt car!" :nana2:  To be honest there's chips, scrapes or rust on almost every panel now after some silly kerb incidents and 2 engine swaps by careless people. I've had no money to keep on top of things :( I've got a big clutch on the way and a few other small bits to get it running properly for summer so by April I'll be back on that rolling road to prove it's a 550bhp car, even if it will probably still look a bit scruffy for now ;)
  13. Yeah I'm on NTL but have Sky+ as well. Hopefully the new Virgin box :o :x: will be good and I can save some ca$h :)
  14. Balls! I'm just outside Leeds but made other plans tonight, would love to see them :(
  15. Sure do ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=86404&highlight=xbox+live
  16. What were you doing up there in this weather and what had you taken? :D
  17. No luck on the dating sites then?
  18. Japanese Akita, 10 weeks old, 4 legs, furry, eats food and sh*ts. Looks like this:
  19. No he's left handed
  20. Mine is a slightly reduced size, mounted on some bendy aluminium strips/brackets so it lies almost flat but can be stood upright if I ever get pulled. Not been stopped in about 4 years with it like this and it keeps the smooth lines of the bumper and is only visible from the front :)
  21. Here we go now I know what you're after ;) It's pretty much spot on and level on mine but looks a little stuck out in the pics due to the curve of it around the rear.
  22. The lip curves out on the top edge like a subtle wing but should be flush vertically with the light panel at the bottom edge.
  23. Here you go :) Give me a ring if you're still stuck!
  24. I've run mine without filters when they got soaked but it runs like s**t. It might be OK if it's been mapped like that but I think the airflow is different. Also you risk getting dirt and water on the delicate element in the AFM and damaging it :(
  25. Surely you mean hell...
