wont go over 125mph
Rev limiter??? :headvswal Auto box??? :headvswal Do any of you know about these cars? Are you sure it's not a Jap spec with the standard speed limiter at 112mph? Is the car running in safety boost? What's the maximum boost you can hit on the gauge?

sumthing scary hapened yesterday concerning my zed
LMFAO! I remember our first introductory posts by IndianZX and they haven't changed in all the years. If you're bored and fancy a giggle, just search for his threads and prepare to Pi$$ your pants!

Headlight conversion, what have i done wrong?
What you've done is correct. The only thing I can think of is that by drilling the hole to fix the wire you've shorted something in the bulb  I just used to scrape the silvered metal surface rough and solder to that but I did sometimes have the leads come off with the heat melting the solder. Wiring the earth to the headlight internals gives the same result.

Canadian with a RHD Z TT !
I don't think you'll find many up for sale and the shipping costs would still be the same :( Who knows, it's winter and these cars are crashing every week so one might come up ;)

wheel spacers are on
Great to see them on at last :D That car REALLY does need lowering now though LOL Makes a huge difference with the extra foot of rear track on a wide arch. Best handling mod I've done and by accident

Happy Birthday Kris Mayo and Steve-300ZX
Happy birthday chaps! ;)

Car broke down today....so fvckin pi$$ed off
Have you fitted dump valves? Sounds like they need tightening up if you have. As peeps have said, the none starting sounds like the CAS (most likely) or fuel pump.

It's OK, Shrimpy's is one of the worst anyway LOL I agree it's useful info but those 2 pics and a line or 2 of text almost fills my screen with one Shrimp post and I'm on a 1920x2000 widescreen

You think so? Yours is almost 640x480 which if you were on a 14" monitor is almost full screen ;) LOL Just because you guys may have a big monitor at home doesn't mean everyone has - office users? I often login on my mobile/PDA with a screen size of 320x240 so if I set it in desktop display mode I'd have to scroll through 3 screens for one of StellaZ posts LOL (Not picking on you, you're just a handy example of how even relatively small looking pics can be HUGE) :nono: Also all these images have to be downloaded every time you refresh the page - imagine how much wasted bandwidth the site is using sending millions of useless pics out all day long. Most websites have to pay per MB they upload to users although I think we have a generous owner hosting us ;) It's not noticeable to you if you're on broadband but not everyone is. My mobile for example I have to turn of Internet Explorer from displaying ANY images before I can open the site or it just grinds to a halt. Last weekend I used my parents modem and had to wait literally 5 minutes for one thread to appear so I could scroll to the bottom and see what bullshit had been added LOL I soon gave up and logged out. Imagine users in other countries where broadband isn't yet the norm trying to visit the site  I think we should set up an IT section Duffer and charge for lessons :D

LOL I'm running 1920x1200 on a Dell XPS Laptop and the text is so small nobody else can read it LOL The HI-DEF porn does look great though ;) Have to agree with this, I've complained many times but the forum numpties just say turn of the sigs which is just a complete waste of what they're actually there for. In the end I've joined in although mine isn't THAT big. Anyone on a small or low res screen has to scroll through a whole page for each post and it's just ridiculous, especially when some tit posts a full screen pic in there :mac1: There must be a way of limiting the size through software.

Pidgeon Mod
I do love the sound of it but I wouldn't risk £2K of turbo's and possible engine damage if they come apart just for a noise LOL As has been said, rally and F1 engines get replaced on a daily basis.

Music from Gumball 3000?
Just downloaded the full TV series on BitTorrent LOL It's the kind of tune you could crash your car listening to  The track is "Leave Me Alone" by Casino... Another track by them "Lose Myself" is cooool too. Never heard of them LOL After more research it looks like it's actually a remix of "Heavy Metal Machine" by a UK band called SpiderSimpson  It plays on entry to their site: http://www.spidersimpson.com/

PC/PDA problem ... your thoughts please
I think you are getting a bit confused with how the cradle works ;) Like I said in my first post, the cradle itself is not detected by the system, it's just a cable with a stand on the end. It's the PDA that the PC detects :) Maybe the connector on the cradle has been damaged by some rough use, examine the pins in the PDA as well.

My new daily drive
3 times in fact! First time a lad smashed into me in reverse outside my own drive doing £4K in damage :mac1: Second time I came round a corner a bit quick and a taxi stopped in front of me to let a bus pull out :mac1: Skidded into the back of him in the pissing rain :( Partly my fault but the taxi had no reason to just stop like that in moving traffic. Third time some useless tw@t swung a U-turn on a busy A road with me and others coming up on him at 70mph. Wrote it off for me but I got offered £4700 on the insurance :D  £600 more than I paid for it and I'd been trying to sell if for months at £2700 and still didn't get offers  Must be the first time ever I've made money out of a crash  It was one of those unlucky cars

how hard can it be to find some decent series 2 door cards
Not all UK cars have the belts on the pillar do they?

Another set of keys locked in car
It's not but if your alarm has and auto arming feature like most CAT1's then it could be that the timer went faulty in a way that made the alarm think the car was switched off and so armed it? A lot of alarms won't arm while the engine is running so you can't lock the keys in... turbo timers interfere with this.

My new daily drive
Great car! 156 GTA? I used to have the 6 speed 2.5 V6 and loved it. Very good value used cars too :) Mine was £26K new but I paid £4100 for it after 3 years LOL

PC/PDA problem ... your thoughts please
Hi Dan, I've done a lot of work with PDA's etc if you need some advice get in touch - I owe you a favour anyway. The cradle itself works just as a cable so won't be detected on its own. Reboot the PC, Install Activesync from the Dell CD, Reset your PDA (not sure on the Dell but probably a tiny reset switch to press with the stylus on the bottom or back) Put the PDA in the cradle and it should detect it and you'll hear a noise as USB picks it up. If there's no noise then it could be a USB hardware/software conflict and you could try using a different USB port. Next thing to check is that Activesync is accepting connections on USB - Go to it's File menu then Connection Settings and check Allow USB Connections is checked. After that the chances are that the driver didnt install first time and it needs updating but you'd have to go into Device Manager to do that...
