Stop taking the piss, this is serious stuff! :D Both the kit and the wiring by MickeyB will only fire once when you flick the switch! That's no use at all as the chances of you shifting, timing the press of the switch and getting the right fuel mixture are pretty remote. You need to be able to switch the system on and have it sparking away for when the gear change happens. So one of the systems with an oscillator or electric motor and cam is needed. I'm sure Maplin must do something ready made that would fire the coil.

It's just the fluid that's getting low. It expands as it warms up so the light goes off. Buy a small bottle of Dexron II type automatic transmission fluid ;)

When it first started smoking I I wasn't too worried but when it moved over to one bank only I started to think I've got a duff turbo or something :cry: It seemed to clear up after half an hour with the Optimax so I'll see what happens when I next start it :rolleyes:

Some of the kits are just insane. One comes with a fuel pump and spray jets to put fuel in the exhausts for 5 second+ flames. I'm sure that's going to end in a fireball! Are these insurance approved? :D My tailpipes are removable and part hidden by the rear bumper so I can just stick a plug in about 3 inches from the exit. I could remove them complete with plugs in seconds if needed ;) Not sure if it is as easy to fit or as safe for a stock backbox.

I think so. I'll ask if he's got the chip with it. So far I can't find anyone with a Doolz AND chip! So a US chip should be no different if the fuel is the same. A lot of people mention it and I don't know who to believe. I've mailed Z1 to get some info.

"You will need an ignition coil w/ primary power wire to power it" Sounds like you are only getting half the bits to me. If it's just a switch, relay and coil I don't see how you will get sparks unless you sit there pressing the switch on and off. Tricky when changing gear at 6000rpm!

If it's tuned properly why would there be loads of unburnt fuel coming out the back?! :rofl: Does the AFR have an aircraft style fuel dump mode? :D

I can't believe the chip is mapped differently for "how" the air goes down the tube as well as the quantity! Once it's past the meter it's gone as far as the MAF is concerned. The JWT filter is mounted on the MAF in the same way as my Apexi is on it's MAF! By the time the air gets to the engine is it upside down and the wrong way round?! :rofl:
