  1. That guy is insane :nono: I bet his front tyres never wear out though
  2. Not quite like the one you are referring to but yes ;) An exotic car deserves an exotic passenger so took a Brazilian girl out in it last night who is a big fan of Ayrton Senna. Don't know what made her tell me that! :D
  3. What a weekend I've had with this car! I forgot how much attention they get.
  4. Yes upping the fuel pressure will put more fuel in per squirt but don't know how high you can go...
  5. The chip doesn't store the "learned" information so you still need to reset it but if it's been out the car being socketed then it's probably been without power for more than an hour anyway. If you just quickly swapped the chip in a socket then yes you might need to reset it.
  6. Mike, I've got the tiny Sony Vaio and its excellent but the hard drive just failed on it :( It's got everything built in - wireless, bluetooth, modem, DVD/CD-RW, USB, Firewire, webcam. But... it's only got 1 of the small PCMCIA slots.
  7. Yes check your firewall settings - this is certainly an option in Norton Personal Firewall. Sometimes a corrupt page can be held in the temporary files cache. Try going into the IE Tools menu then Options and click delete temporary files. Have you installed the Google toolbar? That has a popup blocker built in that you can turn off.
  8. LOL! You better set off early to get there before 9 from Fife!
  9. Sorted today mate LOL Who's is that red Z in your sig?
  10. Too right mate. There's no way you can get to the standard tow ring and I know it will be getting some use!
  11. You cheeky monkeys :mac1: I'm going to have to sort something out for sure
  12. I was wondering that too LOL What have we done to deserve that?
  13. Why are snails so slow when they are the same design as Greddy 18G's?
  14. I'm not sure what they are exactly but I presume they are just uprated T25's. It will be an improvement but you can't beat bigger snails :hyper:
  15. Join the AA then call them a few days later? ;)
  16. Not as big a reaction as with these new T28's and only 8psi :o LOL
  17. These are really useful for dismantling Pinocchio toys ;)
  18. I was thinking that. It's one of the cars that encouraged me to get my kit fitted etc but since seeing photo's of it about 4 years ago, I've never seen or heard of it since!
  19. It's a Veilside Supra wing :D I wanted one myself when I had the kit fitted but couldn't find a copy at the time. The original was about £1K when I looked into it!
  20. Yeah it looks fantastic Paul! I still can't believe you did it all yourself - I don't know of anyone else who's fitted and painted a kit at home  Looks like we've got 3 wide arch Zeds for the north east convoy to Billing next week :D I better lead the way cos mine still looks better ;) :D At least you got rid of the nasty red paint  I hope you fixed the wing on properly or you'll be driving home from Billing with it in the car again :D At least me and Dave won't have to fit around it with the camping gear this time  How you fitted it in I just don't know.
  21. Does anybody know what sort of 0-60 & 1/4 mile times you can expect in a 500bhp manual Z and what sort of top speed could you expect on a private motorway ;) Is 500bhp enough to redline it in 5th?
  22. Coolant raises the boiling point but you would think that means water would be more likely to force it's way out? Maybe the coolant was heating to a higher temperature and making the hose softer so it's easier to leak? Surely you've repositioned/tightened the hose anyway? No idea really so I'll shut up! :D
  23. Remove EGR system? Not sure how easy it is to get to while the engine is in the car though? I wouldn't think it was too bad to get to the valve at the back when the plenum is off. I just cut some thin pieces of metal to cover the plenum holes, put liquid gasket on them and screwed them on. Water bypass is easier than it looks at first.
  24. Which hybrid turbos are they Vinz? I've got true T28's from SE on mine.
