  1. You'll waste away mate! Macca, is your weight just an excuse so you won't fit under my Z on saturday?!
  2. Check the connections on the PTU but it sounds like it's failed to me. The PTU is effectively the distributor so no power to the plugs.
  3. Yeah wish mine had charms but only came with chimes ;)
  4. Not totally sure on this but I would have thought the wiring loom was the same so the seats would just plug in. I'm selling my leather seats soon if you are after a set? Where in North Yorkshire are you? I'm in Harrogate.
  5. :D That's what I've been doing for the last year  Lymon, I was aware of the bend in the lever and when I first fitted it the lever was leaning towards the front of the car and seemed to be too far away in use. I turned it round which made the lever vertical and easier to use. I presume this is the correct way round and I'm sure it worked fine until the clutch was bled. Ben, Tried the easybleed kit thingy first but the top just popped off each time so went back to the method in the manual. Hopefully it will be running this weekend so I'll find out. P.S PaulC cheeky tw@t
  6. He can pull it off and try it for size if he wants but not when I'm about :nono:
  7. I hope you didn't put a goose in it when you were under there last week. It took me ages to get rid of the goose honk last time  No the box worked smooth as anything off the car and seemed to go into gear before bleeding the clutch but i could be wrong.
  8. Mathew, I've got the Z Centre 3 pod one if you want a look at it at the weekend.
  9. I heard the split was due to problems at their U.S workshop years ago. Apparently there was a landslide or something, they lost a lot of money and the managers mrs disappeared - "New York Mining Disaster 1941 (Have You Seen My Wife Mr Jones)" :D
  10. I can't really see how the linkage can be out of line - it's all held in place by the transmission and engine mounts etc and there's not much room for error. If the clutch isn't disengaging would that stop it? Most cars seem to go into gear without the clutch.
  11. Finally got round to bleeding the clutch at the weekend but I'm having problems getting the car into gear. This is a manual conversion and I haven't got the car running yet. Should I be able to put it in all the gears when the engine is off? I can't get 5th or reverse and some of the others are a bit hit and miss. The box worked fine off the car. Clutch pedal still feels really spongy and only stiffens up when fully pressed.
  12. Well the easiest one is the Skyline R33/R34 GTR calipers and disks which bolt straight on with no adapters. I know BMW 850's use the same pads so I presume the calipers are the same as the Skyline.
  13. Looks like its been hit by a brick but how it could happen under a stock bumper I dont know  Good excuse for an upgrade though :D
  14. Hey Vinz, give it a try!
  15. Sounds like someone has it in for you
  16. Good luck to both of you. Don't wait until you flood the house like my "mrs" did :nono:
  17. Find out which star you look like: http://www.gabitus.com/eng/analogia/2.html Me - George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Tom Cruise, Dolph Lundgren etc LOL
  18. The Turbo XS ones come with adapters to fit in the stock location or on the top pipes so why change?
  19. Might as well have one too :D
  20. Looks fantastic mate, almost as good as mine ;) I'm wanting to get mine retrimmed inside as the last person to have a go at it made a complete mess. I'll be speaking to Peter about some Cobra seats and matching trim soon.
  21. Tension rods are £129 EACH from Nissan. Poly bushes are about £45 I think and any local garage will be able to fit them in an hour or two.

Definately the stock boost gauge wotsit.
  23. I wouldn't mind paying if it was a Lambo LOL Had a sit in the new Alfa GT - very nice but would have to wait for the GTA version with their fantastic sounding V6. Did you know there's a Nissan dealer opened in Ripon? Davids. The one in Harrogate closed so I've had miles to go for bits recently.
  24. Iain, you can have my 19 incher for the weekend if you promise to look after it ;)
