  1. Using 2 shouldn't matter anyway as the balance bar joins the turbos anyway. You can use 1 but I don't see the point and I've no idea what size you'd need. Ask Macca as his Z used to have a single bleeder in it (or is it 2 including the driver?) :D I think SE did them that way. A bleed valve is just an adjustable jet so it can only be better...
  2. Ive stripped off all the standard pipes and boost solenoids so how do i connect the actuators, controller etc? Has anyone seen a diagram anywhere?
  3. I use these regularly and they should have most of the stuff you need. http://www.scan.co.uk/ http://www.lightcomputers.co.uk

Quite a few performance tyres have these. I think the Bridgestones I had previously have them and the Fulda Extremo's i've got on now have them.
  5. Yeah, class advert. I like how they line up for the burnouts :D
  6. 2 crashes in about 3 weeks init? Jeez that's some going  All I can say is.... never swerve for animals :( Might be an idea to change your mail address from seandaytona...
  7. Why would you have split flange turbo downpipes on an NA?! LOL The length of the exhaust is different but downpipes are the same. Like AndyP, I ordered de-cat pipes in the UK (without saying they were for an import and they fit perfectly). You can fit these with the engine in but it is a lot easier without the gearbox. I'd get these downpipes and get de-cat pipes altered or custom made if they are too long.
  8. The stock turbos use a 4 bolt fixing and T28's etc use the 5 bolt. I had mine made up by SE and fitted them last week. If I had an unlimited supply of cash I'd have bought those as they really improve the spool up over the normal pipes. I might change them later when I can afford them. I don't see why Jap and UK would be different when they are the same turbos unless the exhaust fitting is different but I've never heard of it.
  9. I've had 90 out of my old auto in 2nd :D
  10. Are you talking about these? http://www.z1motorsports.com/Products/Powerplant%20Performance/Exhaust/downpipes.asp You need the 5 bolt ones to go onto your T28 and then the exhaust goes on the other end... The other way is to get the original style ones off a 200SX or similar and cut/weld them to fit the Z. Get rid of the cats and it sounds much more meaty :D
  11. The Blitz springs are not as low as some and because they are progressive they stiffen up nicely. With the Koni adjustable shocks the handling is transformed. I've got the wide arse kit and it looks just right. I don't have any more problems over speed bumps than I did before because the stock springs had sagged over the years anyway.
  12. Didn't know there was anyone near me. I'm not far from the airport.
  13. Oooops I had totally forgot mate. Cash on the way.
  14. I know the Blitz progressive springs that I have give more lowering at the back but I'm not sure on the measurements.
  15. I will be parked. To help you out with a bucket and sweeping brush 5 miles from SE!
  16. I want these one day: One of my favourite Z's. http://www.turbomagazine.com/features/0204tur_whitelight/
  17. That thing won't chirp, it'll sound more like an ostrich with a lion chewing it's leg
  18. If you'd run out of paint you could have gone for the Starsky and Hutch look
  19. Yes but I'd love to know how he's getting 420bhp with just a dump valve and a boost controller  It's a proper Max Power car is that one ;)
  20. Well if it is, they've installed it into a Rover - look at the steering wheel and controls! If the noise is from external wastegates then surely you will need new turbos, manifolds, downpipes and wastegates £$£$£$ I love the noise but not that much!
  21. Nice one Paul, I'm well impressed! Is that secret spoiler still going on? When did you change your wheels?! What have you got left to do on it? ? ? ? Hope you've kept the skeleton gear knob!
  22. I'm just worried about removing something essential and having to pull it all to bits again to fix it. What does the PRVR system do?
  23. AIV's removed but may still have some control stuff left. Carbon canister removed but not yet sorted pipes. EGR removed and plugged. PRVR not yet removed but let me at it! I think I've done too much all in one go so I can't work out what's what.
  24. Are there any write-ups on plumbing the engine back in? Got lots of pipes and no car to compare them with. I've seen a few pics of the bay but they're not much use without being able to trace from end to end.
  25. I think the components that up the octane are very nasty for pollution and health and when your average car runs on any old shite there's not much point really.
