  1. Aaaahh! I haven't removed the controller yet so I might trace it back from there and see what I can remove.
  2. I hope that IS a joke! Why did they put a heatsink and cooling fins on one side I wonder...? I'm stunned  If you now take the heads off and the bottom end, you can remove all the internals so it will be much lighter to dispose of at the local tip...
  3. Not sure how they are marked but that's probably correct. They are Garrett T25's but I know they don't say that on them.
  4. That's what I was going to try. Hopefully it will be near enough first time when I get it tested. Phil, The camber kit that Harve is supplying is only about £45 I think but if you want the "proper" kit that's adjustable on the car like Andy above then they vary from £300 to £500  Still not much to pay when a pair of 18" front tyres can be £300 and wear out in a couple of thousand miles if no aligned. I found out the hard way. It does depend on what size wheel and how much you lower/how sagged your springs are.
  5. Does the inhibitor curcuit need to be shorted to allow the Z to start after a manual conversion or does removal of the auto box mean it will just work? If so how do I do it?
  6. Where the bleeder goes on the drivers side wing, there are a few connectors mounted that obviously aren't there on a manual car. What are they and can they be removed or do they need relocating. The car has been in bits so long I can't remember what plugged into them.
  7. I think it's all going well but there should be a proper vote.
  8. I lived in a very good area, miles from anywhere and had it broken into buy some guys who turned up in another car...
  9. I bet it's advertised at £8K next week and 4 the week after :D
  10. "Dave, All I can say is it must be a very special collection. There are only about 5 convertibles in the UK and they go for about £5K these days. And here's the "rubbish" I drive! Chris" Lets see what happens  :D
  11. Not sure I dare. For some reason I don't expect a nice reply! OK I can cope with rejection...
  12. I might trade mine in and buy it now I've realised my car is rubbish! Only need to find an extra £10K but as it's from a special Japanese collection, I'm sure it's worth it ;)
  13. Now I'm not one for bragging but I think they are SLIGHTLY wrong there.
  14. Just added it to my previous post!
  15. LMFAO! Got a reply! "Hi Chris This Vehicle should not be confused with the rubbish your Probably driving, its a genuine 2000 mile convertible that's been in a private collection in Japan, try and find another one! Still if the price of a genuine car makes you chuckle do a few mileage checks on some of your fellow members cars that's sure to make you wet yourself. Dave CCB" :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: I see a fantastic friday thread developing! Please feel free to mail your response to: info@ccbjapanesecarimporters.co.uk :D
  16. Yeah get em from Z Centre. Nissan will cost you more than the car!
  17. Just sent them an e-mail:- "Is the price of the 300ZX convertible a joke? I'd love to think you can make yourselves £12K out of it guys! Knock £10K off your price and someone might buy it. Thanks for giving the 300ZX owners club a good chuckle on a Friday! ChrisC" :D
  18. It's not just me that thinks it looks shiiite then? It may have only done 2000 miles but it's still 12 years old and every rubber part will have perished! Are they taking the piss or what? :mac1: I'd rather buy an aubergine for 50p, digest it and produce something similar looking the next day, saving myself £14994.50
  19. กระทู้ AC1462 : ถอดรหัส SMS จากมือถือ ..... ( เอาอีกๆ ) กระทู้ AC1462 : ถอดรหัส SMS จากมือถือ ..... ( เอาอีกๆ ) And yes I cheated and used Google :D
  20. No thanks! :D
  21. Just get a thai sex slave, it's much cheaper and more fun than working out! :D Never knew we had so many firemen on this forum. What is it that attracts them to the Z? ;)
  22. Something strange going on cos my car is parked at my parents and the street is called "The Birches" and there's a huge silver birch in the garden :O
  23. Have you been to the pub too? :D
  24. LMFAO! Maybe we should buy this from the subscription fees so all members can make it to shows in their pride and joy! :D
  25. Get an SE "type" chip as it makes the JWT ones feel like stock again. JWT seem to be very conservative and designed for U.S fuel.
