  1. I bought some 0/40 at Halfords the other week. Couldn't believe the price, cheaper than Halfords own semi synthetic!
  2. I know it's a bit late now but... If it didn't say JAE 2004 on it you could use it at other meets too ;)

The oil feed pipes are all metal and very unlikely to come loose and leak. I had a leaky rocker cover on my old engine doing this but never fixed it before I swapped engines. Not too sure on the stuttering, there's a few things could cause it.
  4. Doh! Found the fitting kit that came with them amongst all the junk in the garage :xxx: Got 'em fitted in no time
  5. Do you need to put any of the packing washers in before fitting or are they OK out of the box. I think someone on here had a problem recently with them opening on idle. I've got T28 hybrids if it makes a difference.
  6. Cheers peeps. I'm sure you're right but just confused by the part number thing. I'll just stick 'em in and see what happens.
  7. That's what I thought when I ordered them as on stock they are different lengths but on delivery these are both the same. There must be a difference as there's 2 part numbers for left and right and a different Bosch number on each  Sureley they are doing the same job though so why should they be different...?
  8. I'm fitting Turbo XS dump valves and I thought they came with all the bits for a Z but it appears not. What can I use to blank off the unused air pipe? Anybody done this? Also the pipe that the BOV mounts to is too big for the BOV body :( Do these normally come with the right bits and I just wasn't supplied with them? I got them from Z1 in the U.S
  9. I got 2 new O2 sensors but I'm not sure which is left and which is right?! They had different part numbers but they are not in the Nissan bags anymore :( There's a Bosch part number on each and one has a green paint mark and the other has a yellow mark. I would have thought they were the same thing on each side but there must be a difference. How can I identify them?
  10. Do the pipes need to be blocked off when you remove it? Where do they go and what do they do?
  11. Not as bad as those pics of the Ferrari accident that were on here a couple of years ago :( Think it was a 355 convertible and they lost it at some silly speed and the car and passengers were chopped in half on the crash barriers. One guy was literaly wrapped round the barrier with half his head missing and his insides scattered all down the road. You could hardly tell what the pile of mush used to be
  12. Subscribed to Evo and sometimes buy Japanese Performance. Can't do with the teenage Max Perv mags  I'd rather download proper porn when I need it :xxx:
  13. I'm pissing myself laughing at it now you said that. I knew it looked like someone. Can imagine Johnny Vegas climbing out and moaning about trashing his mums car or something
  14. Aparently he walked away
  15. Watch this :xxx: http://www.motorminute.com/Audio/noseatbelt.avi
  16. Good plate matey. Should be easy to make CHUNK with a square font 3 and a black screw in front of it. If you start chopping off the ends of the 3 you'll get pulled straight away! I've got 2 plates myself: H1 8 CPC H8 CPC There's a couple of good ones near me: Porsche with "CRA1G" Ferrari with "1 6OT I" BMW Z3 with "B13TCH" :D
  17. No I didn't get a reply! They must have liked my Z :D

  19. I wouldn't know how much they charge mate!
  20. I ordered over $2000 worth of stuff from them and they said they would put the customs value at about $600 but they obviously forgot. I got stung for about £275 in tax! :(
  21. Are there any 6 speed boxes that will fit a Z without major surgery?
  22. I was going to take it out but haven't got that far yet. Just trying to get it planned in my head. Is the auto harness easy to remove? You say it goes behind the headlight but does it go into the wing or something? I've got the engine out so might be easy if it's all in the bay. I'll have a look tonight.
  23. Can I plug the harness from the alternator on the new UK manual engine straight in to my Jap auto Z? Or do I have to change the harness or alternator?
  24. How do I identify the wires? I removed the auto shifter assembly ages ago. Is the car enabled to start when the switch is closed or open circuit? I had to jump start a car this weekend so it's a reminder that sometimes it's needed so don't fancy the neutral switch idea.
