  1. I quite like both those rear ends! :D Not seen those light covers before but does make it look mean.
  2. Nobber is a word I haven't heard in years. Must use it more in conversation :D
  3. Called in to get 2 new side light bulbs for my Alfa 156 V6 from the dealer today as i was collecting another part. The screw on covers to get the bulbs out were totally stuck and I've tried a few times to get them off with no luck. Asked them if they would put them in for me and the bill was £35 for 2 tiny bulbs and about 5 minutes labour! Explains why the previous owner never replaced them!
  4. Get one of the flat screen TFT's you've been asking about and you won't have this problem mate. Much easier on the eyes. Also, try not to stare so hard at those video's you have on late at night :xxx:
  5. I totally agree, it's about time they did this. The linesman flagged it as a goal but the Ref said no when he was nowhere near the incident. If this was motorsport the result would have been overturned after viewing the video and we would be through! Something should have been done about the penalty spot when they had already complained about it at the other end in practice. All the people saying it's the same for all the players so it didn't make a difference is rubbish. Beckham was the first to go and his left foot sunk in the sand. The other players saw it happen and stamped it down firm. We were the guinea pig for the shite pitch! Both these things along with Rooney going off cost us the match. I know we didn't play great but we put the ball in the net more than they did. Why do we always go out on stupid decisions and penalties?!?! I really thought we could win the cup this time :(

to a poodle :D He always comes in handy if you don't have a jack :D
  8.    That brings back a few memories LOL We look like cheeky scousers :D
  9. Yeah and he's got a pair of turbos too :D
  10. You might prefer auto but you could convert to manual for about £600 plus labour. When my box died I was going to do the fast road rebuild but for the money I could have 4 manual boxes and there's less to go wrong  I loved my auto with ALC but manual seemed the sensible option.
  11. Sorry to dissapoint Iain, but that's not your engine. It's labelled up for someone called I.MACTOSH
  12. I prefer seeing a pink G string myself :D I'm sure it's going to be awesome matey
  13. Look out for severe flooding  when mine fires up in the next 2 weeks after 17 months
  14. Didn't know it was this early in the year! Wanted to go too.
  15. Lots of skin! It's only a couple of quid for the pipe but it's a pain in the arse to change.
  16. It basically tells the system the upper air temperature and directs the air accordingley. Not sure if it really makes much difference as long as the sensor itself is still there.
  17. Are we allowed to put our hands up and ask teacher questions? :slap:
  18. Either Nissan or ask AndyZ in the traders forum. Nissan can get a single new lock changed to suit the rest on your car if you ask! Reg Vardy Nissan in Leeds did it for me when mine got broken into.
  19. Jeeez! Makes my T28's look like garden snails. I thought they looked huge compared to the stock T25's! Macca, I hope your Apexi intakes can take some punishment cos those 18G's are going to suck rabbits out of the fields!
  20. Did these come with a fitting kit or did they just bolt straight on with the stock pipes? I'm sure I have true T28's and not the hybrids... Thanks for the advice. I think I'll get it running at about 15psi and take it to Thorr or somewhere so they can test it out as it's running and up the boost.
  21. XDA II is the best at the moment. Thinking of selling my IPAQ 5550 to get one if anybody is interested.
  22. There's no debate, I know they're good for 1847BHP but it's just the amount of boost I'm unsure of  I know that this setup should allow me to run about 17psi if that was the stock turbos but I'm sure 17psi on T28's would blow it apart? Am I best booking it in for a proper mapping and dyno run to get some test results? If I could get near 450+bhp I'd be very happy but I really just want to use the car after it's been off the road for so long without destroying it within months. The car isn't even running yet so I might be lucky to get 5bhp
  23. No that's why it says stock internals  Hopefully the old engine will be getting forged pistons etc next year when the bank manager will talk to me again  Here's the engine spec: T28's Nismo 555's SE Big Intercoolers Doolz Twin POP, Single MAF Turbo XS RFL Blow Off Valves Polished & Ported stock manifolds HKS Iridium Plugs Howe Racing Radiator Underdrive Pulley 2.5" straight through exhaust Blitz SBC-iD & Power Meter. Fidanza Flywheel Removed: AIV's PRVR EGR Carbon Canister
  24. If you have a manual Z, expect the clutch to die within a few months of upping the boost! It's well worth it but be prepared to budget for that too.
  25. How much boost can I run with T28's, 555's and big coolers with stock internals? Am I right in thinking that these turbos will be pushing far more air through for the same pressure so the usual maximum of about 16psi would actually be too much? If so, how do I gauge how much is too much for my engine? Chris.
