  1. Can't do 12th but probably can do 5th
  2. If it's one tooth you should be alright, but They are interference so probably bent a valve if many more than 1. Mark off the head and pistons as being unusable just in case, but they might be fine.
  3. I use a 6 sided socket with a swivel at the end (with electrical tape round it) so its completely square on the bolt.
  4. Oh you still don't have that off? Imo the extension method will let you get a lot more force in the bolt than a spanner from the top.
  5. He's got no trans on it shouldn't need to. You can unbolt the shaft half way up and it will probably give you enough room.
  6. You need to pry it open as you try and slide it out. I used two screwdrivers wedged in, and the a pry bar to try slide it off. Saying that I do have a scar on one of my knuckles now [emoji55]
  7. Is it just a case of swapping the hoses and making a mount?
  8. Carbon canister I put a lot of effort into bending the pipes upwards, but in the future it will be deleted. Indicator mod I got a picture somewhere (I put a pic in Stephens thead I think, I'll find it later if not) Washer bottle can stay where it is. And I made up some flat metal pieces for the intercooler top mount. PM me if you need more info
  9. Not bad with performance direct, but 2000 will struggle to find you another TT if it gets written off.
  10. You mean HIGHLY better suited and not at all a personal preference thing. All to often I steered you away from front mounts
  11. I love the idea of having electronically adjustable setting and putting the car in 'sport mode', but realistically it's still not really sporty stiff, and you need to have the stock ride height so coilovers all the way for me.
  12. It was standard on US TTs (I think for most model years). Don't believe it was ever available on UK models (correct me if wrong)
  13. All UK specs are lwb and twin turbo :)
  14. Hi mate nice car. I'm Surrey too (barely), Coventry is our AGM in June, a good one to go to, and boxhill to Brighton run is not to be missed. Simply Japanese also to throw some car show variety in.

  16. Pretty sure they are the same as the eBay ones everyone runs. If you have the carbon canister they are a pain to fit. My ones didn't line up to the stock brackets.
  17. They come up on eBay quite often, about a tenner a side https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-TERRANO-II-FORD-MAVERICK-98-04-N-S-LEFT-REAR-INTERIOR-DOOR-HANDLE-CHROME/222592939093?fits=Model%3ATerrano&hash=item33d392b455:g:eDkAAOSw4PxaMUY2
  18. Or the dealer, or allcarpartsfast
  19. Impul did make a full tuned version, but looks like yours just has the ECU. Timing and fueling changed iirc.
  20. Some people get a spanner on from the top, but personally I do it with 4 extensions, and you can undo the tranny mount and tip the engine a bit if you need. Try both methods.
  21. Remember to drain it before you take the prop out
  22. Happy birthday Howard.
  23. Just hope the pipes that connect on the top don't split, I went through 3 pipes because they kept splitting. And they have weird restrictor things in them so not easy to replace.
  24. Lol, off is the easy way, try getting it back on again!
