  1. Sorry to hear mate. You can always wait until things settle and save up some pennies in the future :)
  2. Guide: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183453-Upload-images-for-Non-Subscribed-members Or subscribe to the forum
  3. What's the CO limit for reference? 3.5%?
  4. Mine doesn't have extended strike up times. Just lights up like any other bulb.
  5. Not sure how my tester would be able to tell. the ballasts are well hidden and i can tell them that the 300zx came with them (which it did just not my one)
  6. Clean i would just use brake clean/degreaser, maybe some wire wool or you could wire wheel it. I would take it off though if you wire wheel to not scuff other things.
  7. They should be yellowy white.
  8. Once you've unhooked the wire lever, it just slides out.
  9. A whole front end cut and weld is not an easy task, probably not going to be safe either. Also the frame rails would have taken a hit which could buckle all the way beside the engine. Imo best to reshell.
  10. I can't see much of a 300zx chassis in it. The floor pan and engine bay is all non-z32 stuff, maybe its just subframes and drivetrain (which is mostly not included)
  11. Not really any downsides to losing it. You can keep the stock exhaust and just put plugs in it, you shouldn't need to worry about being a swb because iirc the downpipes are exactly the same. It's cat back the zorst differs.
  12. I've seen forged SRs fail at sub 400hp haha. The swap will be incredibly expensive as subframes will need to be cut and welded, and a custom exhaust needs making up. Power steering lines need to be on the other side iirc, same with fuel.
  13. Yes they are different to the TTs, the diameter is smaller.
  14. Doesnt have the taper so no doesnt look like it.
  15. What clutch do you want? Just an OEM one?
  16. The OEM ones have a template edge to the backing paper to line up iirc
  17. Happy birthday Ash
  18. You say that, I just removed one a couple weeks back and didn't break any clips...
  19. If it works it works :) Didn't see that 2 year warranty that's good for £30
  20. I know the price appealed to you, but the quality in casting on that leaves much to be desired. You must hope the seals internally are of better quality, otherwise you'll be after a replacement in the near future
  21. Stock compared to them. Also they are thicker
  22. You can throw a belt on and compression test it, or take the head off and have a look. The compression test will give you more valuable information as to if the engine is good or not. I edited my comment as I answered in a rush. But there is some leeway with a skipped tooth, it won't run well/at all but one tooth out it shouldnt have broken anything.
