  1. Yeah that looks immaculate as if it's just been jetwashed!
  2. It's in the wrong place but perfectly legal. Happy new year (nearly) and how generous of you :).
  3. Looks nice, what are the bottom holes for next to the clock?
  4. Oh sorry, neither of mine had any diff cooler lines or an oil cooler. Also what happened to the HICAS on that? It looks absent, but there is no lockout for it
  5. Looks good to me, though personally I'd like some longer extensions also, but it should do fine.
  6. If I were you in addition I would get a set of sockets which take out rounded nuts. I have a set of sort of bladed sockets which have saved my bacon. Also a good spanner set and maybe some ratchet spanners would be good. I would advise to get the 6 sided sockets instead of the 12 as they tend not to round nuts so easily.
  7. Would you like to share the colour
  8. Hi Laura and welcome to the club [emoji14] Shrewsbury hmm, surname Evans by any chance? I like the engine bay idea ;)
  9. This might help: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?183978-What-colour-do-I-choose
  10. I don't think they are dying out, they are for different things. The forum is recognised as a car club, has tech threads, competitions and specific features which won't be on facebook. Also this club doesn't have a booming user base, with regular members not any bigger than 50 people. The facebook group has a lot more because its more accessible and convenient for them.
  11. I did see you're post Ken, limited advice I could give so chose to leave it to people that could tell you for certain. I suppose its this time of year where everybody's busy and the forum is less important than family etc. Facebook is a mostly a different crowd (on the nismo and marketplace forum) and the club's facebook posts once in a blue moon so its not much use. I would guess facebook is just a more unified thing people would be browsing anyway and its easier to see new posts etc. Im sure the forum will fire up when things calm down a little.
  12. Renewed yesterday I think so you got me for another year [emoji14]
  13. Half the trouble is usually getting the old wheel off!
  14. My paintwork isn't that good!
  15. Any other information? We've all thought this at some point. But just weight up your options and don't rush into anything. Who knows it could be a stuck thermostat and fix for £20 and half an hour
  16. I would hope in the event of a roll that it would already have engaged, and not randomly turn on going up a steep hill.
  17. Alright thanks I've got a spare seatbelt so I'll try that. But in my mind it would be less of a headache without the orientation lock
  18. I have some skirts that will probably go on so I won't need the fronts. But nice try ;)
  19. I spy some front spats in that sigpic of yours
  20. All relative my friend. I've owned much worse lol
  21. So I didn't start it last time, so when I tried this time... Nothing. First off battery was dead so I put a beefy battery in it and it would crank, but it wouldn't fire, not even a splitter, so I kept trying, putting it in limp mode and flushing it to make sure it wasn't flooded etc but didn't get very far, it would cough but never catch. So by process of elimination, I had fuel pump and pressure and fuel was getting in cylinders so it must be spark or timing. So I've had problems with the Ptu before I took that off with difficulty and cleaned the connectors and low and behold she splutters into life :) Story time over, took her for a quick spin (literally) with no brakes but she runs alright, gives me confidence for the future. Quick photoshoot: Tatty but she's not far off now. Lee says the smoke is likely just all steam.
  22. Your slicktop was tidy though :)
  23. Apparently your car was red!
  24. Small trip to Lee's to deliver some parts. Good chat and had a look round some of the club's cars.
  25. Let's just hope the box behaves now shall we ;)
