Ok lets cover the U/D pulley situation, decided to fit it today and it was going sweet as a nut until reassembly, got the U/d off danny at dta(aka smithys) and on fitting found that the tolerances for the woodruff key on the crank were too tight on the pulley side, the key would not fit in the pulley, was a pain in the ass really as I was working at the side of the road didn't have any files and couldn't get the pulley on( before you say it I am used to woodruff keys as they use them on sea king tail gearboxes, I checked the key off the car on the pulley and the fit on pulley side was too small), I ended up using some sandpaper on a flat surface and slightly removing a bit of the key to get it to fit which isn't a perfect solution( will mail you danny if you are reading this as I was cursing the idiot on the cnc who machined this one), Once fitted and running was impressed with the way the car revs and pulls in the gears now, dyno will show the results in 2 weeks. Meguiars Vs Zymol From the start I will say that Zymol has a deeper finish and works with faded paint better than meguiars, unfortunately meguiars still wins the competition though, the reason for this is that Zymol leaves a white powder residue on polishing off and is also harder than meguiars to polish off, the difference in finish between the two is minimal but that extra work and the powder from zymol lost it this competition.

the light is lit up to tell you the autobox is stealing power from the engine

Finally got a few days off so decided to fit the U/D pulley tomorrow and spend the full day on the Z getting it nice and tidy and retensioning the injector connectors, heres hoping i dont break anything, including myself, for some reason lately everytime i touch anything on the Z i end up cutting, bruising, slicing, breaking and generally hurting myself, it must be all the room in the engoine bay thats the problem.

my main problem is i listen to linkin park and my driving tends to speed up for some reason

hold wont use first when pulling off, and it does help avoid the auto shuffle by not using kick down

well done bud, pics? for me stick to 18's as its still a better balance of performance and looks, i am slightly biased though as i have 18's

the locking pineapples are not a ideal solution to split bushes, try the z1 locking collars which will require a small drop of the subframe to fit, this will have the added benefit of tightening up the rear end but make the road noise a bit more

also look in the aol folder for a temp internet file, on a side note dump the aol browser and start using mozilla as well its so much faster.

start, all programs, accessories, windows explorer, windows, temp, temp internet file

use the windows explorer tab in the sys tools menu, go into windows, look in temp you will find a tem internet files folder in there , clean it out.

they removed it for some reason, if you have broadband i could mail you the 3 files as i downloaded em from there
