  8. unfortunately im agreeing with the turbos upping the cylinder comp and blowing into the cooling jacket, have you gas tested the coolant

Go outside to your car and start off by some gentle stroking of the paintwork and glance every now and then at it lovingly, after a few moments of the glancing and stroking start to caress its mirrors and gentle kiss the windscreen while saying quietly " youre so sexy i love you" .....might work, even if it doesnt get someone to video it as i need a damn good laugh. :tongue:

  15. think you will find the main difference is down to fluid change, should be done every year
  16. engine tuner put me on to it as a way to check the valves for oil suction through the valves, when i had the same sort of problem on a audi of mine with smoking on decel
  17. if you have had any work done on the head new seals might of been fitted, could be worn valve guides, try this, when warm rev to 5000rpm for about 15 secs, lower the revs to 4000rpm for 15 secs, then 3000rpm for 15 secs, then let idle for 5 secs and blip the throttle, let us know if it kicks out smoke?
  18. where is the bleed valve located andy, im wondering if all the problems people are having with the avcr's and boost controllers could be down to this item, causing the boost spikes and all.

  20. the solenoid from the avcr will try to control boost as will the oem ones so you will get some conflict
  21. lol, my missus promised not to watch too much crap if i promised not to use ebay all the time she watched the crap, i was spending a fortune or planning on spending, was driving her nuts
