faded pink paint
to get it back from pink is great, in fact the work involved in doing that must of killed ya, I only found these things out by trial and error trust me the paintwork on mine has lots of imperfections, swirls and such and is dulling in areas, once machine glazing has glossed the surface( i used 3m machine glaze) then applied 2 coats of meguiars 20 polymer sealant and then 1 coat of p21s carnubia wax( p21 doesnt last long maybe a month on car so will need good top ups). http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/cat_3.html

faded pink paint
the reason you seal it is twofold Remember the paintwork is 17 years old oh and please dont use tcut , I hate cheap distilates used on your car....lol..sorry, personally would prefer a machine glaze to prep it then seal it twice as it layers and p21s it to finish, man i dont have enough time to do this myself nowadays but heres when i did 1, normal polishes on a red car will to some degree allow uv affect 2, sealants act as a perfect base for carnubia based waxes and give a longer lasting protection ( sometimes up to 12 months)

faded pink paint

RR day underdrive pulley result..YAY
ok did the RR day with a local car club today , there were a few evo 6's a bmw m3 evo a N/A supra , couple of 200sx some one offs and a few others, the Z did us proud, a 17 year old classic car was the most powerfull and had the biggest increase over standard bhp as well( will put the plot up later) 375 bhp and 380lbft That doesnt tell the real story though, its about the fitment of the underdrive pulley and the difference it made, the last RR at the same place was 369 bhp and 368lbft so the BHP increase was only 5( very warm day today though so with the same temps the operator would say 10 is likely) but the torque was a whopping 12lbft , not only this but the torque curve is now so aggresive its quite a bit above the bhp curve where as last time it matched the bhp curve. Better still is the effect at the wheels ( the on the road power) Last time it was 322, this time its 344 a whopping 22BHP getting put down on the road. IF ANYONE ASKS IS A UNDERDRIVE PULLEY WORTH IT THE ANSWER IS YES WITHOUT A DOUBT. In reality who cares though as i beat all the other cars there

i have a personal licence if that helps, just not for that area, cant remember the rules dont know if we could get away with me being a designated supervisor. In all honesty as for the agm ......i prefer a piss up weekend rather than a functional one( i know thats what the agm was but it just sounded to formal( why not do a virtual agm in a online world with avatars and such))

Should these connectors be connected?
Look at instructions 19 and 20 http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/avcr/avcr.html
-
Should these connectors be connected?
try what i said
-
Should these connectors be connected?
remember there are 2 actuators
-
Should these connectors be connected?
right , repipe your actuator pressure supply from the avcr actuator to the wastegate and see if it still happens, im gonna bet it doesnt, as you will have removed everything the solenoids affect.Im taking a guess that you joined the new pipe to the old close to the original take off.If it goes when your solenoids are connected up its saying these connectors are having an affect on boost control so pipe the avcr with totally new piping to remove the items the solenoids control letting the avcr do its job.
-
Should these connectors be connected?
fuel cut defenders basically are a way stopping boost control which earths out the injectors to stop fuel delivery, the z does not use this way , well the pressure this happens is silly high i believe, from my delve into maps.No you do not need these
