  4. id check, but i think the early ones were machined incorrectly, im sure i read that with the new ones this has been resolved. i believe the outlet for the wastegate was incorrectly positioned
  5. as andy says the 555's are more than enough. the 740's will fit, but as you say the lower plenum has to be machined for them to fit on early cars. this can prove expensive & is why the aftermarket 850's like le big mac has is popular, cos the fit straight on :) no point in going larger than required anyway tho :)

ok, cool. that is quite handy to know. quite a few people report the car just holding back at higher speeds. a good check would be to read the AFM voltage either by conzult or simply with a volt meter at the ecu whilst driving! :) not strictly a boost cut tho, is it? you could still hit high boost pressures down in the low - mid rev ranges
  9. just in case you've not had enough yet!!! :D
  10. Mr Sheen is good on coffee tables :D
  11. anyone know of a company that does uprated springs, but doesnt drop too much. as i cant be arsed with all that scraping over driveways/sleeping policemen etc!!

  14. 0 boost is usually a siezed turbo. your not getting any nasty noises are you?? safety boost is 7psi
  15. & even better is the power curve keeps climbing at the end of the rev range, get rid of that det & run higher boost & theres a lot more potential power to be had :)

  19. i agree. a 2nd hand water pump would be a waste of time & money! depending on if you want/need to do a cam belt at the same time, it may work out cheaper getting a kit from courtesy nissan
