no, they dont have strut braces as standard - depending on make, they are prob about £100+ unsure as to what make green springs are, tho i know spring greens are made by farmers ;) :D (cost about 59p from tesco :D) yes, zeds do have LSD's
  3. i guess its gonna be safer to increase fueling at higher boost if you know your AFR is too weak at higher boost. im running 16psi without probs (for the last 2 years as a daily driver) too tho
  4. yup, sounds like the usual "too much negative camber" problem! as suggested, get a 4 wheel alignment done, if it is out of spec, you will need a camber correction kit or after market adjustable upper arms
  5. so the fault memory in the gearbox ECU is clear now then? (im sure the TPS was the same for auto/manual??)
  6. you can get replacement pipes, but what do you need, the main cats that your mongoose bolt to, or the precat(s) that come of the turbos?
  7. read my write up here: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=30631 all the people that have them that ive spoke to are pleased with them :)
  8. from Courtesy in the states: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=LVG30DTT-MT how bad is your engine - is it not rebuildable??
  9. the fumes from the crankcase are mainly blowby gasses from the combustion chambers. the piston rings are not a 100% seal & some gasses leak past the rings & into the crankcase. years ago (before emmision controls) these gasses were just vented into the atmosphere, but are now passed back into the inlet manifold to create a closed system. some people have gone the catch can route, however if your engine is in good health (bottom end) & the PCV's are replaced with the hoses to ensure proper ventilation, then it shouldnt cause smoking anyway HTH
  10. have you found what was causing the TPS fault logged in the auto box ECU then?
  11. £1250 for a second hand engine is a bit fookin steep anyway - even if its a good one!! glad you got it sorted in the end! :)
  12. hope thats a wet vac there mate - cos dysons may suck more, but they dont like water!!! :D
  13. i would have thought not actually (as long as the PCV valves are ok!), when the engine is under vacuum, the PCV valves are open to allow the engine to vent crankcase fumes to the inlet manifold - so you could have a vacuum leak there. under boost however, i would think the valves are firmly shut, to prevent all your seals in the engine from popping out!!!
