also different rads/oil coolers + rear diff cooler rear lap belts instead of 3 point front seat belts attach to the doors to allow others to kill you by opening it for you!

Nitrous Oxide
as far as nitrous is concerened - i think if its set up properly then it is a very safe mod!! especially nowdays with progressive controllers etc. fake power?? dunno why some people think its fake? cos there twats?? LOL power is power, what does it matter if youve got bigger turbos that allow you to burn more fuel, or a more oxygen rich enviroment in the cyl?? the only downside is having to refill it all the time !!

Nitrous Oxide
same as why people call vacuum cleaners hoovers i suppose.

Safety boost
you have boost control solenoids, which operate the wastegate actuators at a lower setting (7psi) there are also alternate timing maps which are used
-
Safety boost
I agree with Andy, relocating the det sensor is not a good idea IMO. although if you have a boost controller you wont get safety boost, you will at least get the timing retarded (assuming you havnt got a chip with not safety timing maps i know!)

Going on the dyno at Billing
theres a lot of variables on your setup, & i would imagine if your getting det its prob from lean fueling. obviously the timing needs to be checked too. adjusting the base timing will effect the timing throughout the maps on the chips also. what chip, sorry - "teapot" ;) you using??
-
Going on the dyno at Billing
51x is running 20psi+ i would have thought stock head gaskets would be fine @ 18psi. only one way to find out ;) but in short, yes 16psi on uprated turbos is better than 16psi on stock ones

Going on the dyno at Billing
500bhp @ 18psi

what is the best upgrade route to around 400bhp
400bhp @ the crank is possible on stock turbo's & injectors. induction, exhaust, chip, boost upgrade (either boost jets or a boost controller) to ~1bar. you will also need an uprated clutch. a ligtweight flywheel & underdrive pulley will also help! id try that 1st, if your still not happy with the power then uprated tubs & injectors it will have to be ;)

anyone know how
ok, cool - like i said then!! :D
-
anyone know how
i take it you just mean passenger side???
-
anyone know how
depends on the design. some vehicles can just be programmed out, others may need a resistor to fool the ECU into thinking the airbag is still there

diesel in my Z
LOL!! we get this all the time at work!! with that small amount i wouldnt worry too much, it may smoke a little, & dont drive it too hard as it will be more prone to det. run it right down now & fill it up again, also a tin of fuel sys cleaner would help

Tyre wear question

Is a different Oil Feed Pipe Required for BB turbos?
I would have thought most of the design would be built into the housing of the turbo for oil flow
-
Is a different Oil Feed Pipe Required for BB turbos?
well i would have thought it would be the other way round actually, ie: more oil flow for a non BB type turbo??

What wheels suit the Z best?
ooh, no no no no no!! :nono: see what this threads started!!

What wheels suit the Z best?
LOL!! thats like asking what the best colour is (its Blue BTW! ;)) i like multi spokes, many like 5 spokes, some like 3 spokes (yuk!) etc etc be different - get some steel rims with hubcaps! :D

What did you do this evening?
LOL!! i cant believe you went to the trouble of taking a picture of that !!!! :D :D

Is a different Oil Feed Pipe Required for BB turbos?
the oil from the feed pipe will be supplied under pressure. you dont just want a drip feed going to the shaft journal!
