What did you do to your zed today?
Hi guys and gals.. I have just added an event to the events page for the south of england. Please take a look and let me know if you can attend. Normally a great day out for the whole family and looking to fill the club stand there this year.. Plenty of space for anyone that wishes to attend and show their car. Need responses as soon as possible so please do check it out and let me know you wish to attend.. Also if one of the south REO's can contact me with regard to a club banner, i would appreciate it. Thank you.

Japanese Matsuri at the museum of power 30th June 2019
Hi all.. I have arranged a club stand at the 2019 Japanese matsuri at the museum of power in langdon, maldon. We currently have a 10 car stand booked, entry for displaying vehicles and occupants is free and i am looking for owners who would like to attend and put their car on the stand. The event venue has wntertainment for families so if you want to bring the family for a day out, there will be things to occupy the kids. Could really do with some support for this event and stand space will be first come first served. Should we reach the max number for the stand early enough we have the opportunity to increase stand space, so i would appreciate you guys letting me know as soon as possible if you would like to attend. Thank you. Details of the event can be found on the website.

Craig, the caffeine and machine event, will we all be together in that or is it just a random parking spot allocated? Might be interested in that aswell.

Been working on mine today too. Preperations for the MOT so had to get the lights sortes as i hadnt bothered since the respray to fit any fog lights, front indicators and also noticed i had a dicky number plate light.. So new fogs fitted that stay in tune with the venom lights Found the issue with the number plate light which turned out to be a broken corroded terminal in the fitting, so stripped some new terminals out of some spare sidelight fittings and installed them in the original nissan housing. Good as new again.. Then the old eagle eye LEDs had to be replaced as they dont last more than a few weeks without going rusty inside or the lenses fall out, so i had some motorcycle switchback sequential indicators left over from a bike project and got creative. I stripped the indicators down and removed the lenses and LED sections and mounted them on some home made housings which i covered with carbon wrap. The results were quite pleasing. So all in all, quite a productive day.. just got to sort out the number plates as i think he may fail it with the current setup..

2019 National Census for the 300ZX Owners Club
I didnt think it did, it is just difficult to select an area when the dividing line runs straight through the centre lol..

2019 National Census for the 300ZX Owners Club
Im still unsure as to which area i fall in to. It doesnt help that my area is literally on the borderline of both the east of england and the south/london etc, so i opted for the london area as i cant choose both! Im not far from london, also not far from the other bordering area of east Anglia and east midlands! I do attend the south east and kent Z meets held by mike feeney as regular as possible, so london area it is!

What did you do to your zed today?
Just checked the gov site and MOT time is looming! Its due end of February so guess its time to start the preperations... Have to fit rear reflectors, fog light and replace the eagle eyes again as the offside side lights and indicators have got wet and fried again! Cheap chinese S#%t LEDs! Gonna have to spend some time trying to waterproof the new ones properly to try and make them last longer.. Anyway, once these jobs are done, its fingers crossed time again lol

Seems strange that the power wouldnt be making it to the relay? I would have suggested the ignition barrel but if its turning over that rules that out... Where does the power supply stop?

Spent the afternoon fighting with the weather! Managed to get the car washed and dried and then got a coat of HD wax on inbetween annoying bouts of fine spitty rain.. Got there in the end and glad i did when i saw the reflection on a dull day!

Most helpful member of 2018
Can i please ask that you remove me from this list? I am very grateful to russ for nominating me but, ive never wanted anything in return for the things ive done and i honestly don't want or need an award. My helpfulness or generosity is simply to help the friends and fellow owners keep their cars alive, seeing that happen is all the reward i need. So, i am grasciously stepping aside and would rather someone else be considered. I appreciate the thought though.
