Just finished removing the door card from the car today ready to take in the morning to the paintshop again! He will be repainting the door to remove the mark in it and undoing the damage from the councils mishap.. oh and also taking the pin dent from the drivers door that appeared during the show aswell! I seriously dont know how people manage it, seem my car is a magnet for damage recently!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the guys and girls for coming to the museum of power today. It was great to see you all and your cars today, some great examples on show and as always a good banter aswell. I appreciate you coming out to support both the club and the event and for making the day a worthwhile success.. So thank you all! Look forward to seeing you all at the agm next month and many more future events.

Hi dub.. yes its fine for you to come on the club stand mate, the more the merrier! All cars need to be onsite by 9:30am latest with the exception of joely who has pre arranged. I am hoping to be there by 9am. When you arrive, if you get there before me, just tell the marshalls on the gate that you are with the 300zx owners club and they should direct you to the stand. Just park anywhere for now and we can organise things when everyone is there. Thanks for coming and look forward to meeting you there!

Didnt realise you were over that way joel. I used to come that way regularly to visit my mum over in clacton. Some great driving roads round that way. I lived in essex for 25 years and used to go out on my bike over that way, purely for those sweeping winding country roads.. good old memories!

Chris jones, bob jones and myself will be country laning it all the way from bedfordshire to chelmsford on some lovely country lanes. Takes a little longer as its a little further distance but there are some great country roads coming across from here. The A507 through from baldock to standon, A10 for a couple of miles south and then the old A120 through bishops stortford and braintree before heading south a few miles on a B road to the event. We'll be starting out from here around 7am so hopefully be there for around 9:15am. Be great to catch up with you all and of course show off my girls new skin.. See you there chaps..

Im aiming to be there for around 9am. I believe the gates open tk the public around 10am so gives us an hour to get the stand set up etc.. So anywhere between 9 and 9:30 is perfect.

Knowing how you keep that Z of yours joel, im sure it looked pretty mint before you washed it lol.. Never seen it look anything less! Latest pics of garys Z are dribble worthy too :drool:

Ive updated the list on the japanese matsuri event today, sadly we've gone from 13 on the stand down to 7. Can anyone who has out their name down, please check the new post from me and please confirm your attendance. Also if anyone else would like to get on the club stand, please get in touch before wednesday as i have to finalise everything by then with the museum. It would be nice to fill the 10 car plot we have, so please do get involved as it will be a great day out and you'll be helping to support the club and the museum that has hosted this event. Half killed myself today, been looking at my Z and telling myself id give her a polish and wax for weeks but the sun has been a bit strong or the rain has come down also, ive been a lazy git! However, i pushed myself to get out there today after a morning at work on a training course. So, washed her, dried her then all over treatment with autoglyms super resin polish, followed by a lovely coating of autoglym HD wax. Apart from feeling like ive been run over at speed, im feeling very glad i did it.. Reminds me of how good she looks in her new paint.

Ok, so now down to 7 cars on the stand with bones dropping out so if anyone else wants in, please do get in touch now.. It would be nice to see a good turn out to this event, 7 cars is good but if we can fill the 10 car stand it would be ace..

Hi guys, with the japanese matsuri in maldon being a week away, i'd like to get a solid confirmation on numbers attending. Unfortunately Russ (Veilside) has had some very unfortunate luck with his gearbox so, he wont be able to make it in the Z. However will be coming to see us all at the show with ankle snappers in tow lol. I am also pretty sure the paul tubero will not make it due to his car still being repaired. So our list is as follows and if you could just confirm you will be attending, i would be grateful as the final stand arrangements need to be in place by midway through the week. 1. Bedzeeman 2. I gave them a call and they said that it wouldnt be a problem joel. As long as someone marshalls you in. So if you want to call me when youre close by, i can meet you at the gates and clear you a path to the stand.

Hoping the weather holds up today as im planning on trying this new meguiars hybrid ceramic wax out. Found it whilst at japfest and totally forgot i had bought it, so gonna give the old girl a bath and see how much of a difference it makes. I will update with the before and after results for those interested in the product. On another note, can anyone tell me the name (if there is one) of the horrid sticky black gunk that Nissan use to seal the rear lights and the targa rubbers etc? Im finding that after a jetwashing, there is a small amount of water getting in to my drivers side A pillar. When i fitted the new seals on the car, i used some silicone on the front targa drain area but it seems the surface was so smooth it just lifted away! Ive been looking for the black stuff but not had much luck finding it.. so if anyone can help with a name or a source to purchase it, id be grateful of the info.. And finally, the club stand at the museum of power at the end if next month. Can i get final confirmation of those that are definitely going to attend please so the final preperations can be made for the day.. Thanks guys

I booked the hotel directly but didnt have the booking code, however, i did tell them i was coming with the club and the guy seemed to know what i was talking about, so hopefully theyve included me in the club members bookings?
