  1. We look forward to seeing your ad in the 'Items wanted' section, either for an auto :( box or a manual conversion.
  2. Obviously an auto so I would leave it. There are so many things that make an autobox function / misfunction on a Zed, that the diagnostics alone will cost you quite a bit, from electrical failure to mechanical failure. To fix it is not cheap either.
  3. And he is not on here either..... :)
  4. I was told that hot soapy water will remove the residue left behind after removing window tint film, but as yet I have never tried it.
  5. The Z1 Motorsport write up is rubbish as you do not require to change any looms or the plate between the engine and the gearbox but you will require a flywheel spigot bush and the bolts which hold the flywheel to the crankshaft and of course the bolts for the clutch assembly. I would advise buying a complete propshaft assembly to save time changing the front half. Also around the gearstick the 2 rubber gaitors requires a fixing plate + bolts, and the upper leather gaitor requires a fixing plate + screws. It is not a diificult job and can be completed in a day but that was using a four poster ramp and excluded the clutch booster setup.
  6. Dave, we are hoping to meet up this year...... :)
  7. You just might find out today......... :smash:
  8. A gold Zed on the hard shoulder M5 south just past the Gordano services, umfortunately with a recovery truck parked in front, obviously terminal.
  9. Anyone who sets themselfs up as a dealer are legally required to sell their goods as fit for purpose. For something to fail in such a short time means that it was not fit for purpose. Stop messing around and put the onus for the repair back on to the dealer you purchased it from, they should be sorting this problem out. Get the car back to them and it is their duty to put things right. In a court of law, you are definitely the injured party. Trading Standards will support you especially if they have previous history similar problems. This is not the first time this has happened from what has appeared on this club site, so why is he still allowed to trade. ?
  10. You will just have to get Anna's back on the road... :)
  11. You will just have to go out and buy one......Ebay ?
  12. Surely there has got to be better alternatives to ZTECH which in the last 12 months seems to have accrued some serious bad history, which even new ownership will struggle to overcome unless they really get their game together, which by the sound of they have not. I think all those affected should gather enmasse at the premises in the week and if no show, contact the police for an address of the owners.
  13. You gotta be joking........18 months. I bet its been repaired and put out on contract hire, nice little earner I say.
  14. Definitely, just look at the results in the section marked DYNO results, the differences in some of the figures lead you to believe that these rolling roads are not all running to the same spec.
  15. The valet key has a number on it but being a jap import my local Nissan dealer just does not seem to co operate.
  16. Cheers Sean, will do. :hyper:
  17. The Zed I recently purchased only came with a 'valet' key which as normal for these only opens and locks the drivers door, and not the glove box or boot lit. Being an import does anyone know how to get a proper key cut / supplied that will do all the locks.
  18. I think it was a guy called Mel who has a black wide arch Zed who had called into to see Jimmer.

  20. You will have to come with WOW300
  21. They are available on CD as well.
  22. None, but Jimmer has loads of bits of engines, blocks, heads, cranks, camshafts etc.,in my garage.
