an auto box is a LOT heavier than a manual box! as for the weight of a Z, much heavier than 1300Kg, id say in the 1500 reigon...

lets not excuse the stupendous head start tho guys! il love the Z, but Dori Dori is an awsome driver, and the Auto Produce Boss S15 is a nippy machine!

sorry to sound a prat, but what is a DET sensor? is it the same as the nock sensor??

nice offset, needs lowering though!!!! it is illegal in this country to have the wheels sticking out from the car. all you have to do is roll the arches though! so they are covering the wheels. look ace when lowered and rolled :)

just spent the rainy day doing mine today. luckily, there was a harness already on the car for me :) my Greddy one went stright in :) (hurt my neck doing it though! its not fun being crammed in the Z cockpit and fidling about under the steering wheel :xxx:

jeesus that sounds a lot?? do you have the parts ready for the conversion (box, clutch, prop etc) or will they be providing all the parts (new or second hand?) i baught my last 200SX as an automatic, as i had all the manual parts from my previous 200SX. there is a trmendous difference in power! its hard to go into it tho without slagging off automatic cars!!! :p

What width are your wheels? have you done nay mods to your arches? i facny lowering my teins soon, but wondered how low go without scrubbing? was going to cut the inside of the arch lip away maybe? yours standard? looks a nice ride height :)

Hmm, but when you can get the same looking gorgeous sports car for 5k it seems a bit over the top. mileage will be a bit less, but 5k Fairlady's are usually in top nic :)

yes sorry mate, ment to say.... obviously not enough fuel which required by extra boost. need to get the balance of air and fuel correct. too much air (increased boost) not enough fuel. my asumptions, im not a mechanic or anything sorry! :)

drove it OFF boost today to work and back (30 miles total) then boosted it when coming from the gym, and no smoke??? is it possible that it was just flushing some old shit from outa the exhaust? or isit 100% turbo seals and just didnt smoke just now? Going to put the cats back on this weekend.

know it was a gamble, but thaught id decat the Z. didnt smoke with the cats on, decated and does. only on boost not on idle. cats will have to go back on :rant:

you could import a 99 spec last year couldnt you? it just would have required SVA last year, but not now, that right? PS lot of money for 99 Spec, even now its 10 years old! (supose the fairlady is expensive brand new tho)

its not supost to do anything, apart from pops and bangs. cool bit of kit, as long as you dont over do it and kill your engine lol engines with rocker arms are weak aparently. the CA18DET & RB engines dont have rockers tho, so are ok. SR have. not sure about our VG's? can of worms really the limiters. love or hate thing! didnt think theyd be popular on here lol

PS, ive actually had the letter from the police. so ive been caught. offecnce date was 07/06/08 (day i baught the car!) thinkin may have taken them time to track me down as log book swapping over etc? so then, im having a fine by the looks :cry:
