do they have sound samples there? i thaught about it before, but my car came with nice kakimotos so didnt bother. has anyone heard the Blitz NuR spec exhaust? had one on my 200sx, mental'est thing in the world. deafening!

i just got 245/45/17, continentals, tenner each! second hand off driftworks, 5mm tread each :tongue: cost 15 quid for courier delivery tho, and 15 quid for garage to swap em so 50 quid delivered and fitted for 2 :)

ive been quite sophisticated with my Z! scared to blow it up or crash it! i do get a bit of tail action tho, cant resist whipping the back end out at least once a day :D

ive nearly done all i want to my car, performance wise. (apexi filter, chiped ECU, decats, full exhaust, boost jets @ 15PSI) im estimating the car to be 340 BHP most ive ever done in it was about 150mph, and i wasnt really trying. im want to see how fast i can go, as 150 is the fastest ive ever gone in a car. im aiming for 170 mph, asuming this is a realistic figure? however i dont want to be pushing the car so hard it blows up! engine or turbos! ive just done an oil change, and the car seems to be running ok at the moment. what have you all managed top end from your cars? anything bad happen?

ah... cheers legrath :) i thaught there was a standard strip that could be removed. how does the perxpex one attach then? it goes ontop the standard strip i take it?

ok thanks for the comments. il take the spoiler off and see how bad it is. just as i was bored, i edited the picture, the green part is the strip i refer to, and iv drew a red line on the bad section. how do you remove the standard strip? where the perspex would replace? imagine easy to see when the spoiler is removed.

if money no object, its easy! bigger turbos! then just the suporting mods; 500cc injectors, chip to provide the exrtra fuel, intercooler, as 500BHP is quite large probably kill the engine internals pritty quick, so rebuild with something tough!

think some of you may be confused, the tailgate in general is fine. its just a small section, couple of centimeters which is rusty. the section is the part which people replace with the perspex.

hmm... i was thinking of geting the perspex strip, as the standard metal strip is rusty. then using the spoiler ASWELL, even tho the spoiler wraps over the perspex, hiding it. surely it will work like that? you just wont see the perspex, as the spoiler is over it. or even cut an inch off the standard rubber strip, to show the perspex? get me?

cheers. cant understand how they get rusty there? thats the only part on the entire car? so i can remove this part thats bad (its exactly where the Fairlady Z badge goes on the left) can i still have the standard spoiler AND the perspex? i quite like the spoiiler! (just shame its rubber lol)

heres the other kind..

iv got a 91 Jap TT, (manual of course ;) ) notices today the rubbery standar spoiler is coning away from thre boot. its the part where the badges are, which are all rubber aswell? so the rubber bit is coming away, and is rusty underneath! ive seen other Z's with different tailgate, as if thers an extra bit to follow the lines of the rear lights. ive got this pic (off StellaZ trust doesnt mind) which is the shape mine is. if you look at this one you see what i mean: is there something i can replace the rusty bit with? or do i need a new tailgate completly? they different? or just the lights part?

its the green fuse on the end, mine was overfuelling, clean the PTU (search that)

i had this mate last month, try the easy/free option of an air lock. mine was the water pump tho. £40 for the part, £60 labour.

screw cover? i had to cut something out behind it, presume this is what your on about. just twists/snaps out by hand. 60mm fits just about, 52mm youl have no probs. i can give you the guys details who made the metal plate if you want? cost a tenner! just make a cardboard template and post to him and thats is.

sounds a bit low. when the cars cold: when start, should be just over 4, then when warm up idle on 2, or just under. if its warm, should be on 2, or just under, neutral or in gear. when did u last change/check the oil?

i paid about 120 for my boot to be sprayed. paint is expensive man! fit it yourself, save a bit?

have my 60mm gauges in my car :) cut a 2mm sheet of aluminium, cut 3 holes and stuck in! :)

went to top up with brake fluid, says 3 pot only on the brake resivoir?? ive bought 4 pot fluid, is this ok? (i thaught brake fluid was brake fluid) ?

whats the thing in the boot, on the right? is that the hicas? looks like an ABS thing?

how many valves/pipes are there? where are they/pics? can you not just remove them and clean any dirt out of them?
