  1. Wanted: Lower offside arm with "other bit" (the arm that goes off at 45 degrees to the subframe). with or without the plastic/rubber deflector bit Thanks
  2. Im guessing these wont fit with OEM wheels...
  3. Thank you for you advice, its good to hear that you dont think its the injectors, I didnt really want to shell out for new ones. Ill carry on with my plan of changing the belt and then make sure all the things you mention are setup and adjusted properly.. cheers! :pint:
  4. So as some of you know from a couple of previous threads my black NA Nissan overfuels (Hesitates for a split second when middle to harsh accelleration is used). I know the timing is out thanks to conZult, so ill get the belt done, I also know the cats are shot, so ill get some decats to solve that. My question is about injectors (hence the title ) Would a broken or leaking injector cause my overfueling/hesitating problem? Recently it seems to have got worse but not all the time. Yesterday I drove to work and it was normal (as in normal amount of hesitating and over fueling i.e what its always been like) I drove to the petrol station during lunchtime and reversing out of the space it almost stalled on me, pulling out on to a roundabout I had to dip the clutch and save it from stalling, when off the throttle it popped and banged pretty badly (fuel in the exhaust), but when I drove back to work from the petrol station, its was back to normal. For the past month it seems to be an on/off problem. I can start it one time and have a normal journey to my destination, the next time I start it I have a pig of a journey trying to not let it stall. Some days it does it all day, other days no matter how many times I start it and stop it, it runs fine. While im changing the belt, i was thinking of changing the injectors and cross that of the dianogtic list, but do I need to? If so what in jectors does a 1990 JDM NA LWB take? If I put bigger ones in and get it re-mapped do I get more power or open it up to further problems? This is my daily drive, so prefer reliability (yes, i just used that word!) over power. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks
  5. I've driven a civic and hated it. Also, why buy a crappy car and spend thousands "doing it up". Why not use the thousands and buy something dencent in the first place...? As for that poor poor Z in the video, I was in tears. We need to call the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelity to Automobiles...)
  6. nothing wrong with those pictures. I love running my car with a massive oil leak, it means that I know the underside of the car is "waxoyl'ing" its self and wont rust!
  7. I have two cats and cant imagine life without them. I can only guess what you are going through, our thoughts go out with you and we hope Cassie is happy up there happily chasing the eternal tennis ball...
  8. When a date is settled, ill check if im working. I have lieu days I can use to make sure I have a day off and be there
  9. Before I go spend lots of money on t'interweb, thought I would see if any one has a couple of kits laying around here. I need two kits both full kits with belts, tensioners, pulleys etc (with or without water pump). I need one for my UK TT and for my jap NA, but from what I have read the kits are the same? Thanks
  10. Wasnt that on ebay a couple weeks ago?
  11. Im learning (slowly) how to spot the different. The jap cars dont have fog lights in the rear bumpers. TTs have "grills/fins" in the front bumper for the intercoolers. Colours im not so hot on at the moment though as just proven!
  12. Must have been an import with a UK bumper on it or a re-spray then. It had fog lights in the bumper though!
  13. I do believe you can "edit" a Zeds mileage by twisting something at the back of a clock, so I doubt most are genuine without paperwork to prove it. Mine is on 198,000 (a mixture of Kms and old money) and i do about 10K a year in it, less and less now actually. My red one is laid up, but that is around 60K (off the top of my head). The highest mileage car ive owed was an Audi 80 coupe with 268K on it and it was still going strong!
  14. Racing round on my 1/1A's and saw a silver TT up near Green Street!
  15. Out cruising on my 56 and saw it ready to pull out of a drive just as you enter Westham. I have seen it around town quite a bit lately.
  16. Driving along on my 99, swept round the lights at pevensey bay and sitting in a front garden was a dark blue jap car. Couldnt see if it was NA or TT, but looked good!
  17. So petrol looses its bang after such a short time? I knew it went stale after its been in a tank for years. Didnt know it could loose it in a few weeks. I cant afford Tescos Finest in my NA so I settle for 95 with a tank of finest ever couple of weeks to treat her...
  18. Why is it, when ever I see a picture of a Z's fuel gauge, they never show over 1/3? Looking back through my pictures its always on E and yet I use my car daily and fill her to the top each time! Every picture on eBay = same thing...
  19. completely true and I should know!
  20. As above, thanks!
  21. I do love the supra, I had an NA auto for a while in red. Stock everything, I loved it. However I prefer my 300, There is just something about it, im not sure if its the looks, the noise or the "spaceship" interior. However Im going to throw something else in the mix here: I would rather own a Mazda RX-7 in yellow with black bits than a supra. I know they have no subtly at all, I know they consider an engine change as a 4000 mile service and that you cant go anywhere without going sideways, but when I see them, my knees go wobbly and I normally crash into a lamp post/sign/pedestrian/petrol tanker as im getting a look!
  22. Who is this magician of metal? This fan of fabrication? This wizard of welding? Does he sell his fabricated panels? or only make them if he is welding your car?
  23. I think it's a yearly thing, but not sure as it was my first time
  24. Spent the day with an MR2 friend and some of his club driving around Kent. Started in Ashford and went all around the south coast via Dungeness and Camber etc. 25 cars all trying to keep up with the car in front and being led by a racing Caterham. Im proud to report my Z got many looks and photos taken and apart from a couple of MR2 Turbos (and a 4.0 V8 Soarer!) kept up no problem!
  25. Some very cool cars there, Ive always like the Delta integrale and a MK1 Escort...
