300ZX TT - A18GCK
Out of curiosity, which credit card company are you with? I'm thinking of investing some shares.... ? Looking good, I wont be able to keep up with you on the summer road trip (that you are doing with me by the way, no choice!). If you have anything left over that you dont need/want let me know. I might be able to part with cash for you... ?

What did you do to your zed today?
I know the bloke you mean, he said the same thing when I drove my zed from Jims to Yeovil last May. The wife and I had the roof off so heard him quite clearly ?
- RIP Jethro

BHP Show - 2nd May 2022 - Lydden Hill, Kent
I believe this is for the first five cars included in the registration. Subsequent cars entering need to choose the club from the drop down box and pay for the ticket. The organisers I guess then work out how many cars and space are needed for each club after the ticket cut off date. So if the club registered, the first five cars will pay the club the entrance fee and then cars after that will pay the show organisers.....I think....that's how I understood it...

National Roadtrip 2022
I have booked off my holiday for next June. I am thinking of meeting at John O'Groats on the morning of Sunday 12th June. I'm going to be driving up the two days before and visiting some friends along the way to break up the journey (Eastbourne to John O'Groats is 755 miles and about 13 hours and although I could do that, I didn't fancy it!) Day 1 - 12th June 2022 Meet at John O'Groats for photos and then get on the road. First day is using part of the Scottish 500 route, then dropping down to Loch Ness, running along its shoreline then continuing to Fort William for the over night stop. This day would be the longest as the mileage isn't a lot, but the roads have a slow average speed. The route is not set in stone and if any local members have any better ideas/routes, please let me know as I'm just using online research and street view to check the road condition and routes. Day 2 - 13th June 2022 Day two would be leaving Fort William, cutting down the side of Loch Lomond, crossing Dumfries and Galloway and leaving Scotland in our mirrors. We would then cut down through a section of the Lake District and end up at The Fat Lamb (or somewhere near). Day two is the 2nd longest day and I have tried to avoid the motorways as much as possible to make it more interesting. Again route is not set in stone and suggestions are very welcome. Day 3 - 14th June 2022 Day three is a little more sedate, I am hoping some local club members could meet us at The Fat Lamb for a meeting and spend the morning driving some local roads, possibly organising some photos. Then after lunch we would drive down the M6 and along the north coast of Wales, passing Snowdon and finishing at Aberystwyth for the night. Day 4 - 15th June 2022 Day Four again is more sedate, after leaving Aberystwyth and cutting south through Wales and the Brecon Beacons we would (hopefully) meet at PowerZed for a mini meeting, maybe a BBQ lunch and alcohol-free beer before heading off to the overnight stop in or around Cheddar Gorge. I have not spoken to Jim about this and as it would be a work day, he may be too busy, but it would be nice to plan some form of lunch stop and mini-meet at least. Day 5 - 16th June 2022 Day Five would be a longer day than the previous two. Leaving Cheddar, we would drive along the North Devon and Cornish coast before heading to Lands End for a bottle of celebratory non-alcoholic prosecco or such like! I would probably then drive to Yeovil to visit my father before returning to Eastbourne. Although that is not set in stone. I am hoping to use AirBnB's for the accommodation, after having a quick look, places that sleep 4-8 people with parking are not too expensive and if no one comes I can still afford to do the trip myself (ill just be in a large AirBnB by myself!), but people can stay in the accommodation for some or all of the trip. Ideally I would love to have some cars do the whole trip together (I know that may not be practical for many), some cars join us for maybe a night or two, some cars join us for the day and some cars join maybe for a section of a day. If someone who didn't have a working Zed wanted to come on the trip, they are more than welcome as they could be a support vehicle if they wanted. We could also have anyone with photographic/drone/go pro skills document the trip for use on club stands, NEC, website, etc I know this is a big trip and a big ask of time and money, but you have 6 months to save petrol money and book your days off work! ?? On a serious note though, it would be great to get the club together and do something national and get everyone involved!

BHP Show - 2nd May 2022 - Lydden Hill, Kent
The BHP show is being held at Lydden Hill race track in Kent next year. More information can be found here: https://bhpshows.com/pages/bhp-performance-show We are going to apply for a club stand, so when that is done, we can all buy our tickets on their website by choosing our club name in the drop down box. The organisers will then make sure you are parked on the club stand. When registration is complete, Ill let you all know on this page when to start buying tickets. I think its about £15 per person. The show also offers track time. It is £600 per 15 minute slot with a maximum of 24 cars on track. We are currently looking into this and if there is enough interest then this can be booked as well. The more people that sign up, the cheaper it will be per person. You can show your car and do the track time, or you can just show your car. Track time isn't a race, so some (like me!) will be slow and others may be faster, but I think it will be a great chance to have a bit of fun legally, make some epic photos, give the public a good look at some zeds driving around and elevate the club in the eyes of the public. The 2nd May is the May bank holiday, so I know most of you will not be working ? so signup, come on down and lets make a massive stand and presence!

Car Transporters
https://www.choicevehiclerentals.com/vehicles/Ford Transit 350 These guys are local to you and me. I've used them many times. Just be careful, most companies put on a mileage limit on the transporters and it can be a lot more expensive than going over the mileage on a normal hire car/van. Choice is 50p/mile for miles over 250miles on the transporter, rather than 5p/mile over 250miles on their other hire vehicles. I can drive it for you if you want (I do it all the time for a friend) if we can find a day off together and you treat me to a Tesco meal deal and a beer for afterwards!

My Zed and a Toyota Supra MKIV in red in stock condition would be an ideal two car garage for me!

Soon to be owner, new to Z32's!
Get yourself registered for the car auctions and start looking and seeing what they sell for. Use google translate to check the Shaken (Japanese MOT), its not perfect but you can normally work out what its trying to translate. When you have found a car you are interested, then go to someone like Torque GT. I have never used them personally, but people on here may be able to point you in the right direction with who to use.
