Sorry it's taken so long, but the video is finally ready! I have bought a few GoPros for my road trip in June and wanted to use this trip as a test. A test to see how the GoPros attach to the car and how they perform. A test of how to film a "road movie" and what footage is needed and a test of my editing skills. I attached the GoPros to the front bumper behind the front number plate, so the mount is hidden and the go pro can only just be seen, but can be removed. The rear was attached to the bit of rear bumper next to the rear number plate bulbs. The gopro can be easily removed, the mount is most hidden and the number plate is not obscured. I found they performed ok; the batteries lasted about 2 hours, as I didnt take spares with me I got all the footage of driving to Folkstone and about 17 minutes of @arthur and I driving along the route. I have since purchased more batteries. The rest of the video/photos was filmed with my Pentax K-r and my Xiaomi 10T phone. Youtube seems to pixel-ise my video on the driving clips, I'm not sure why. On my master copy on the computer, it is crystal clear. If anyone can suggest how to force youtube to display it better, that would be welcome!

I have found a location to meet up before the show so I can give you all the tickets, stickers and wristbands. Due to Operation Stack (or whatever its called now) I am avoiding the M20, so if we meet on the A2 in a layby right next to The Honda motorbike garage/cafe after the Womenswold/Snowdown/Adisham/Nonington junction. I know a couple of you will be convoying with me, but everyone else we will all meet there together! The gates for clubs are only open between 06:30 and 08:30. If a club misses that slot, clubs are sent to the public car park and charged accordingly. I vote we meet at 07:00 at the layby giving us plenty of time to get there and get setup.

The tickets have arrived. I have six total (one for myself) so five for people that want to come. We need to meet up somewhere before the show so I can give you the car stickers and wristbands. According to the letter they are being strict upon entry so any cars and/or people without a sticker AND wristband are being sent straight to the public car park. Let me know if you want a ticket asap

Im feeling for you.... We are having a velux window in the loft (so I can have some light in the mancave), complete re-wire of the loft, 10x Solar panels fitted, an outside office for the wife, decking at the bottom of the garden AND the bathroom being re done. its all about to start, so its going to be messy for the next few weeks/months/years....

At the moment, no one has responded Art, so it might be just you and me. Im looking forward to it though, first drive of 2022 for me and a change to test some GoPros I bought

Myself and two friends who live in/next to Eastbourne got denied individual tickets. The show apparently has social distancing (for reasons that no one can quite grasp as there is no social distancing rules in England now) and they are limiting numbers of visitors AND tickets can not be bought as a walk-in on the day. I don't have social media, but apparently there are quite a lot of complaints about this. So I have decided that I won't be doing this show and concentrating on the BHP show which is the same bank holiday weekend. People are more than welcome to come down to Eastbourne and stay in a hotel, Im happy to organise a short drive on the Sunday and BBQ/meal afterwards followed by beer. @Raja93 you are welcome to be my copilot as you are carless!

Definatly heed this advice, however this is not always true. When Jim did my belt last year, it was the original belt from the factory making it 31 years old. We looked at the belt and it looked as good as new. No cracking, no perishing, nothing at all. Only way we knew it hadnt been changed was that it had all the original "hamburger" nissan logos on it which Jim told me that it was an original factory belt from the time the car was built. I wish I had kept it as a memento it was that impressive.... However, I am glad I changed it ?

Will it be back on the road in June, we are passing through Troon to purposly meet up with you!

Club application denied for the third year, not counting 2020 due to obvious reasons. (Complaint has been lodged and explanation requested) Can everyone that wants to show their car book an individual ticket on the website and if we all turn up together we should get parked all together in the centre show area...
