  1. You need to buy your own tickets from the beaulieu website. They used to sell them in the gate, but not sure they do that now as it makes the queue slow. It's £13 per person in the car I believe. The display label is just for the Marshall's on the gate to direct us to our stand. It's not a ticket.
  2. Sounds like a plan. I'll still get there for about 07:30 as there is plenty of porn to look at ....I mean cars! The gtr, 350z club, Subaru club and Toyota clubs all meet there now ?
  3. The gates open to exhibitors at 08:30, the queues get crazy, so we always get there for as close to 08:30. Last year it took 45mins from the back of the queue to parking up. We left the Tesco's at 08:10. Meeting at 07:30 means we can meet, fill with fuel (if needed) and have a pee before joining the queue to get in. Also don't go via the back entrance, it's dusty gravel all the way across the estate, the front entrance is all tarmac. I'll be at Tesco about 07:30 and will leave at 08:10 with anyone that is there with me!
  4. PowerZed is the best place to have work done. Jim is very good. First step would be to have a chat with him. He is down in bristol just off the M4. As for engines, if you can source an engine, a straight swap with a good engine would be the easiest option. I might be selling my engine in the winter. Mine is a twin turbo automatic that I am planning on converting to a manual. So if I do go ahead with the swap, my engine, torque converter and autobox (all original with 50k miles on them) would be available.
  5. Happy Birthday Aff!

I havent heard of this show, where is it, when is it? When I google, all I can find is an australian jap car parts shop and a farcebook group
  12. This is a plan to meetup en route to the Simply Japanese event. Simply Japanese is being held on SUNDAY 24TH JULY at Beaulieu - details here.... Simply Japanese | 24th July 2022 | Beaulieu, National Motor Museum We have a club stand booked - currently for 10 cars - but can alter that up to two weeks before the show by contacting the organisers. We will be starting at Polegate Cophall roundabout petrol station at 05:30 and using the A27/M27 corridor to go to the Tesco in Applemore on the edge of the New Forest. This has a large car park to meet more members of the club coming from other parts of the country, it also has a petrol station. The store won't be open as its a sunday so no need to worry about parking. In recent years other clubs have started to use this as a meeting point; the supra club, the subaru, the 350Z club to name but a few. It ends up being a small mini car meet before we drive over to Beaulieu in convoy. The drive is two hours from Polegate to Applemore, so should get there around 7.30 to allow 30-45 minutes before driving over to Beaulieu and joining the queue when they allow access at 08:30. If you want to meet up along the route (A27/M27) let me know, I can create a whatsapp group and share my location while I'm driving so you can track our progress and catch up to us. I do not touch my phone while driving, so once we have left, I will be uncontactable until we reach Applemore. A few rules: Tesco have never stopped us from using their car park or complained, as it is a great meeting point with petrol on tap we don't want to lose it, so please, no donuts, burnouts, etc. The New Forest has wild animals, ponies, horses, deer, rabbits, honey badgers... please follow all speed limits and refrain from being silly Inside Beaulieu, once parked up, please leave engines off. They have neighbours and need to keep the noise to a minimum.
