  1. I need a bit of help. The car is making a hissing noise like a lorry/bus dumping its air. Ive narrowed it down to a liquid dripping from an AC pipe where it goes into the firewall. It doesnt produce the liquid, therefore the noise, when I dont use the AC. Its not coolant as Ive checked that, its not oil as its a clear liquid and the car doesnt smell of oil. I suspect its condensation from the AC pipe. It then drips onto the hot manifold below and instantly evaporates making the hissing noise. I have never own a zed with working AC until this one, but Ive never heard it make this noise in the year I have owned it. Is this normal or should I be worried? Ive attached a picture to help explain.
  2. This was a good day out! Lots of cars and track action to watch! @ianl and I met up and drove there together before meeting @AndrewG and @GSC . I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few from the day.
  3. I know, when I bought it last year I just used my old zeds insurance and updated the details. I did raise it from £3000 valuation to £8000. Its going to have to be more now though
  4. Pop the doors and boot back on, stick engine in and you will be already for my road trip in june!
  5. You should rearrange the number plate, move the space to the right by one character M30O SG.....
  6. This was from last September. I think it's done 700 miles since then...
  7. Im with close brothers, classic policy with agreed valuation of £8000, drive to work and get the car back if its written off for £168. Its due next month so ill see how much it goes up as I want to raise the agreed valuation this year
  8. That's strange because mine says it's playing in 1080, but you can see the level of pixelation on the road especially. This is the original final cut I have: Its very strange...
  9. Looking excellent!
  10. The GoPro footage is filmed in 1080 at 48fps. The Pentax is 1080 at 30fps and my phone does 1080 at 60fps. I used adobe premier Pro to create and export the video as an .MP4. I will try a different file format next time and see if it makes a difference. I was a bit sneaky with the sound... The GoPro sound quality from the onboard microphones isn't great. You can hear the original sound on the clip where both cars start up and start driving. At the intro I used pre-recorded sounds from a zed to make the clips sound better... Those observant of you will notice in two of the clips the sound bite changes gear but my car is an auto...??
  11. Good answer ??
  12. Sorry it's taken so long, but the video is finally ready! I have bought a few GoPros for my road trip in June and wanted to use this trip as a test. A test to see how the GoPros attach to the car and how they perform. A test of how to film a "road movie" and what footage is needed and a test of my editing skills. I attached the GoPros to the front bumper behind the front number plate, so the mount is hidden and the go pro can only just be seen, but can be removed. The rear was attached to the bit of rear bumper next to the rear number plate bulbs. The gopro can be easily removed, the mount is most hidden and the number plate is not obscured. I found they performed ok; the batteries lasted about 2 hours, as I didnt take spares with me I got all the footage of driving to Folkstone and about 17 minutes of @arthur and I driving along the route. I have since purchased more batteries. The rest of the video/photos was filmed with my Pentax K-r and my Xiaomi 10T phone. Youtube seems to pixel-ise my video on the driving clips, I'm not sure why. On my master copy on the computer, it is crystal clear. If anyone can suggest how to force youtube to display it better, that would be welcome!
  13. Wrong colour completely Raja..... see below: (Love you really....?)
  14. I have found a location to meet up before the show so I can give you all the tickets, stickers and wristbands. Due to Operation Stack (or whatever its called now) I am avoiding the M20, so if we meet on the A2 in a layby right next to The Honda motorbike garage/cafe after the Womenswold/Snowdown/Adisham/Nonington junction. I know a couple of you will be convoying with me, but everyone else we will all meet there together! The gates for clubs are only open between 06:30 and 08:30. If a club misses that slot, clubs are sent to the public car park and charged accordingly. I vote we meet at 07:00 at the layby giving us plenty of time to get there and get setup.
  15. Thanks Richard, I'll try contacting them. Shame you can't make it, but if the zed needs jimmers love then it takes priority!
  16. Two tickets left people. More can be bought online if you want to be on the club stand. @RichardS are we able to get the club banners/signs?
  17. Yes of course! We will need to meet up before the show so I can give you the tickets. Maybe a layby or petrol station.
  18. The tickets have arrived. I have six total (one for myself) so five for people that want to come. We need to meet up somewhere before the show so I can give you the car stickers and wristbands. According to the letter they are being strict upon entry so any cars and/or people without a sticker AND wristband are being sent straight to the public car park. Let me know if you want a ticket asap
  19. Is anyone coming to this? I got an email today saying that my tickets have been shipped. Looking forward to it!
  20. TheRealNips replied to ianl's topic in Events - UK
Sorry, I was away in Cornwall for easter and didn't see this. How was it?
  21. Looking forward to this tomorrow!
  22. Im feeling for you.... We are having a velux window in the loft (so I can have some light in the mancave), complete re-wire of the loft, 10x Solar panels fitted, an outside office for the wife, decking at the bottom of the garden AND the bathroom being re done. its all about to start, so its going to be messy for the next few weeks/months/years....
  23. At the moment, no one has responded Art, so it might be just you and me. Im looking forward to it though, first drive of 2022 for me and a change to test some GoPros I bought
