  1. ADN14236 - ADL Blueprint as good as OE. ADN14236P - ADL Blueprint performance pad. BP1016 - Dirty QH!! Armed with these part numbers any good motor factor should be able to cross reference them. Dont go to subaru for them as fist they cant look bits up without a chasis number!! and two they will make nissan look cheap
  2. First off id check all your vac pipes are connected, start at the balance bar and work from there.
  3. If i were you id take a look at the Nissan Elgrand, they are on ebay prices from £4k, I think they will hold the money alot better as they are fairly new motor to uk roads.
  4. Daft as it sounds id search the largo owners clubs and get a bit of background on them, theres a forum for everything these days, i often look on the figaro sites as id like the mrs to get one, but she told me no in no uncertain terms!!!
  5. If its the petrol it might not be as bad as you think, in the petrols they use a 2.4 vvti lump which is better made than its deisel sibling. The deisels come in CD20T 2.0 deiesel and CD23 and CD23T the latter being the 2.3 tubo deisel which can just about pull its own weight where the 2 litre struggles. Fuel economy will be about the same on the petrol, and on a run you probably find it a bit better, bear in mind that they are as aerodynamic as a brick so your fuel economy will be similar to the zed.
  6. What does it do when you start it? Is it on 0 on tickover?
  7. Which engine is in that one CD20T?
  8. Looks nice, the extra you spend on parts you will save in fuel anyway, the delicas drink it, the largos though not economical are better on fuel, slightly!!! Give me a yell if you need bits!!!
  9. You can pick a half decent bongo for £4k to £4.5k. Yes a largo is cheaper but wait till you need to buy shocks or a radiator!!!! The bongo is a bit transit shaped but i suppose thats bound to be the case as its a shared platform with the ford freeda. Most people assume the largo is pretty much the same as the serena, but when it comes to parts theres a hell of a lot of differences.
  10. Yep as i thought, your guage must be getting a duff signal somewhere.
  11. Should be off the scale -14 when turned off, but when you put the ignition on its should be at 0 i think. ............off to look!
  12. If your looking to buy from a dealer i can highly recomend http://www.jayautouk.com/ At my work (we sell jap car parts and service and repair jap motors) we see cars bought from many places, some good, some not so good, but whenever one comes in that someone has bought from there they are as close to perfect as you could hope for. Good luck in your search.
  13. Largo is a bit dearer for bits than the dilica. But the Largo has a stronger head gasket. If i were you id take a look at the next generation of buses, the Nissan Elgrand or the Toyota Granvia. Id say the most reliable and cheapest and easiest to get bits is the Mazda Bongo. If i were you id steer clear of Toyota Estimas although the parts a re cheap and easy to get, they are only worth a grand or two and when the head blows it will cost you that!!
  14. You have to make sure all the radio functions are turned off when playing cds. This includes TA/TP, AF and EON, once all the radio data ststems are inactive the aerial should retract.
  15. Nelson the Second!!!
  16. Can I ask what thats got to do with a water leak on a zeds turbo coolant pipe?!!!!!!!
  17. Doh! Forgot what i was going to post in the first place!! The biggest problem you have to overcome when converting from uk to jap is the loom, because the jap and uk mirrors have very different plugs on them, its quite easy to modify a jap to take a uk mirror but to do the reverse you will need; 1. The Switch 2. The 2 Looms which go from the switches to the doors 3. The J spec mirrors (which are like hens teeth!!!) Good Luck!!
  18. It wont be in the bushings, more likely you have a hairline crack in the alloy bezel that the mirrors fold on, you can either replace the whole unit for a less wobbly one you can normally find one on ebay for about £50 in the right colour if your willing to wait for one. Or you can try andyz on here, if he hasnt got one he'll give you a yell when he does. You can also fix minor cracks in the bezel, by taking the mirror unit off and using JB weld or similar to seal the crack, but be sparing with it or it will get in the folding mechanism and lock the mirror up. I sucessfully did this with mine a few years back, but a week later a motorcyclist with a top box just clipped it and snapped it off!!! TIP; if you do think there is a crack in the bezel you have to be VERY careful when removing the unit as there is a small sping loaded ball bearing that clicks the mirror in place in the in or out position, the best way to make sure you cant lose them is to move the mirror to the halfway point between in and out before removal. Hope this info helps.
  19. Id say do the belt, i did my water pump but wasnt brave enough to do the cam belt, i got a qualified mate to do it 12 months after i did the pump. Bear in mind that if your doing the belt its worth doing the tensioner bearings too as they tend to be the bits that will wear then get play then potentialy damage the belt. A kit should set you back about £150 and will be the belt, 2 idlers and 1 tensioner bearing, but should your tensioner unit be had it you will need to go see nelson maindealer im not sure of the price of that though.
  20. Reg number NZ**** on crossroads of Tile Hill lane Coventry I waved, but I was in the White Autojap Van, so no response!!
  21. I need a bit of info on this too, ive only hab my 11 month old in the zed once, cos mines j spec and i havent had time to put 3 point belts in the back i can only put him in the front, so i put the seat in the front locked it all in place, then went inside fetched him out and went to open the door and....... ......damn forgot the seatbelt goes through the door!!! I had to post him in through the window!!!! I dont like taking him in it now cos if ever there were an accident and the door was pulled off, well it doesnt bear thinking about.
  22. If it smaller maybe more of an SX replacement than a zed?
  23. Or turn the radio up a bit more!!!
