  1. I had to google rocket-bunny then - not my bag really, if you're going track weapon what bobgenie has looks the nuts or something similar to this, but then everyone has their thing: Love the rear bumper and skirts they do - maybe something to look at once i have my garage built next year and have somewhere to store it without having the cats living on it.
  2. I'm a fan of all their work (the 3rd spoiler is maybe not to my taste but at least a little different from the norm). That looks interesting but I don't think it looks quite right, the sharp cut off in the bumper doesn't work for me. A wide arch kit that cuts into the door (like luke did fitting a wide arch kit off a lwb onto a swb) is what the zed is crying out for. The problem with most of the wide arch designs is they look like an aftermarket addition bolted on the back to the slim, straight side. Sorry not for me but will be interested to see where they go with it with a bit of refinement.
  3. I haven't seen the wide arch kit, any links??
  4. When I get the front end resprayed later this year i'll be getting the tash put back on if i stick with the stock TT bumper, go for it Si i think it'd break the colour up a little
  5. Superb, great work John - hopefully i might actually see it on the road this time! :)
  6. That is absolutely gorgeous, can't wait to see the result buddy :hyper:
  7. Lucky lucky boy - that's a gorgeous colour :)
  8. Definitely keep a build thread on this - i was tempted by one an ebay contact had on his driveway in need of a resto, one day i might go back to pick it up!
  9. Great work mate, I know how crap it is hauling engines in and out to make adjustments to make things fit so I can wholeheartedly sympathise :) Keep up the good work! :hyper:
  10. Looks great, well done buddy :)
  11. Have we got an up to date list of attendees?
  12. As always  money's in the bank ready but just need an afternoon to change that front tension rod, strap up the undertray and give the discs a rub down then we're back on the road, still starts on the key after 16 months off the road(!)
  13. Good work buddy, looking forward to seeing the progress :D
  14. That's awful news, hope you feel better soon hun x
  15. Well you can count on mine being there too buddy ;)
  16. Happy Birthday buddy! :hyper:
  17. From maintaining a huge build thread or two I think you're right there although i'd still keep a separate thread to document a build/project alongside the What did you do with your zed today thread
  18. No problem Gary/Richard/Steams, happy to be back :)
  19. ...in fact sod it - subscription paid :)
  20. For me with having to break the V8 project, taking the slicktop off the road last year to transfer the plate but then the fiance leaving me in the lurch financially - i haven't been able to get the old boy back on the road and to be honest not having a zed on the road kind of takes the fun out of being on here - i have missed the banter though :( It's been under a cover on the driveway since December 2012 and i've finally got myself financially solvent again enough to tax, mot and insure him again next month. Maybe not as a daily driver but at least a couple of trips out a week at least. Once i'm back on the road i'll probably show a bit more interest but the last year I lost my gran to cancer in the march, fiance left in april, my step gran contracted breast cancer and broke her hip shortly after that, my mum was critically ill after that then my dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer in the september and my uncle with bladder cancer the same week before my little cat being killed outside my house a week before xmas so it's been a tough old year on me and the family. 2014 has been a much better year so far: Dad is one chemo session from recovery, my uncle's better, my step gran has fully recovered, mum is fine now and i met a lovely girl back in february who's really picked me up and helped me through everything not to mention a payrise on the horizon, a successful ppi claim and some other luck on the cards. Hopefully i'll start posting up a bit more and responding to posts when i resubscribe next month but hope you guys who do know me don't think i've forgotten about this place! :) I agree that facebook does seem to have taken over a bit from bulletin boards - it's just much simpler to communicate on them unless you use tappatalk
  21. Nice work buddy :)
  22. Look forward to coming for a spin when you get it all running properly buddy :) Give me a shout when you want your files back and i'll come and drop everything off for you
  23. Thanks for posting this up - i need to do my manual conversion later this year so useful to see what's involved buddy :)
