  8. Just seen this thread, great news hun - glad you're alright :) x
  9. Single plane manifold, big carb and lumpy cam and hello 300bhp and a bag of torque that your standard zed won't give even at top revs :) I had 331 ft/lb torque at 1000 RPM
  10. Thanks guys, had a nice day with the family yesterday for a change - party happens this weekend :hyper:
  11. Believe me when you've driven a zed with a small block V8 in it, the sound and grunt it has compared to a standard TT is immense especially when running on 4" pipe and a large carb like my old one - you'd be converted. A bargain too - mine cost me £20k and it still didn't work...
  12. Ah good old V8 projects and the complications that arrive with engineering firms - sorry to see you're still off the road buddy, always fancied racing my old V8 project against yours when it was all done but never got the chance. Hopefully catch up with you at some point :)
  13. One hell of a project buddy, always love seeing you've put a new update on here :) Keep up the good work! :D
  14. I've already got your first job ready and waiting for you when you're ready buddy :D
  15. That looks great, well done buddy :D
  16. When I came back from LeMans this year I had my car's cruise control set on 130km/h on a stretch of 130km/h, spotted a french policeman on a bike, dropped 10k and moved to the outside lane to let him on. Pulled back on and he sat behind me, kept at 120km/h eventually he overtook, blue lights on and waved me into the services. Accused me of doing 25km/h over the speed limit (100mph!!) when in fact he'd sat there with no guns pointed up the road toward me, gps was on so i know exactly what speed i was doing when i came over the hill and fleeced me for 90 euros instant fine. They were laughing and joking as they wrote out the slip, then another came in with 4 more cars in tow. They must have made a bloody fortune that day. I was the only english car on that stretch and although my french was alright he wouldn't provide proof of the radar gun, no print out and with a guy holding a sub machine gun next to me with his finger on the trigger i wasn't going to argue. What a bunch of ****s the french military police are :(
  17. lol, it's alright mate - i bought all the bits i needed off silverline in the first place for mine i've just got to finish fitting the dayz kit and then i'll be selling it so I don't think I need anything and he's got more use for it anyway :D Thanks for offering the parts though mate it is much appreciated and shows the spirit in the club's live and kicking :)
  18. If silverline wants them then he's more than welcome to them buddy, there's only the boot blind i'm missing now on mine - if you have one of those dibs! :)
  19. That would be me buddy, dropping you a pm now :)
