  1. I've recently watched Toy Story 3 and the TT documentry "Closer to the edge" which in my opinion is as good as Senna :) Both are brilliant in 3D! :hyper: Cloudy with a chance of meatballs is also a suprising funny movie and brilliant in 3d :D
  2. Tbh mate - from doing the same thing myself i tend to just suss when a client is going to be a pain and how much i need that money and move on. If that's not professional enough for them then say the line "No problem ring around for a few quotes and if you change your mind feel free to come back to me" Usually they'll ring round and either get quoted stupid prices or an extremely cheap £250 site then when they find out it's crap they'll come running back. Either way i'd walk away from this one entirely! :headvswal
  3. A long overdue overhall and great work buddy, well done :)
  4. Blimey that's a bit swish! Great work there buddy :hyper:
  5. Roll on the summer lads then targas are coming off :)
  6. I make a rule NOT to commute EVERY day in it otherwise it takes the magic out of it - i found that after a week driving the silver one. One day a week is enough for me - especially with the price of petrol :)
  7. Cheers buddy :) It's put me on a proper high!
  8. I did from the chap in the mazda  I think i'd been sedately cruising along for so long when i dropped a cog and burnt off i saw him jump :D hahaha I've had a few comments from peeps at work too - seems ages since i had all this attention :)
  9. I've been waiting for a dry day without having to defrost to bring the new zed in and give it a good long run and walked out the front door this morning to find no frost or ice on the car, grabbed the keys and set off. It's a good 29-30 mile commute in with a bit of stop start traffic. The car didn't bat an eyelid, perfect temp and oil pressure all the way in. I behaved myself as the prob is a bit wobbly and kept it below 60 most of the way but got to the last long 3 mile straight and some mazda 6 ts decided to try and undertake me so i dropped a cog and demolished him :) I love it - back in a decent driveable zed for the first time in ages It's good to be back! :D Now roll on the shows and the drag racing!
  10. Always great to hear when things go right for people on here - good times buddy :)
  11. I love em, i remember seeing them a long time ago when they first came out and thinking i'd like one if i could afford it. Not many production cars wheels fill the arches as well as they do stock and with the decent build quality and handling it's a bargain what you paid for it! Glad to see you're happy with it buddy :) Should have the prop fixed on thursday afternoon so we'll have to pop over to your mate's next week for a quote on that bodywork - nearly put the jack through the sill last week changing the wheels(!) :x: Love it to bits though and suddenly realised last night there's two 6 x 9s sitting behind my head not connected to anything  lol
  12. I'm selling my box and engine off at the mo but i was planning on keeping the car complete with all the conversion bits and bobs attached so in case i stumbled across a cheap prebuilt engine i could just whack it in and have a track car but if i someone came along with a grand or so say they could have the whole rolling shell with all pipes, looms and connectors to drop an engine and box in.... ;)
  13. Well if you get a second hand V8 engine and gearbox for £500 i have everything else to plum it in :) engine mounts, exhaust, manifolds, pipes and radiator, etc
  14. I've got a V8 conversion kit if you're interested
  15. Beautiful wheels - also interested :)
  16. It's lovely - i haven't really driven it yet but booked into my mates garage to borrow his lifting ramp on Thursday to swap the prop over Cheers guys and gals :) Some more pictures since i started transferring from the grey car to the new one - sad to do it but i might keep the shell and strip it down to the bare minimum and start work on making it a drag car I've got 50% of the leather panels in now and the stereo is basically working but still need to wire in the sub, etc. Steering wheel and gauges still need to go in as well but it's looking good :)
  17. Looks a bit snowy to me lol im still down in reading but my bro said there was 5inches of snow last night when he headed back so i doubt ill be out to play today
  18. Looks a bit snowy to me lol im still down in reading but my bro said there was 5inches of snow last night when he headed back so i doubt ill be out to play today
  19. Mine was Connolly leather hide and all the panels with the seats and it came to £1500 and that's not unreasonable
  20. Anyone tried this yet? Having looked at the $75 for the RS232 bluetooth dongle + the lead it seems alot but for diagnostic without wires it's an ace idea especially working with the phone next you in the engine bay and no silly laptops! http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=306974 Search for NikoZ on your android market place, no iphone version i'm afraid
  21. If it's what they make the rest of their stuff it's flexible GRP - it's weird stuff, more like tough plastic than GRP so doesn't shatter anywhere near as easily.
  22. Oooh now that + carbon fibre dipping and laquering would look rather good on the new car.... hmmm keep us updated buddy :)
  23. I am totally chuffed - it took me 5 mins to get used to driving one again trying to find the indicator, wash wipe, etc :) lol I'm putting the original 99 spec rear lights to match the original 99 spec front bumper on this weekend so i'll be coming to you at some point for a 99 spec spoiler if you still supply them buddy?
