My New Stillen Type 3 lip - the whole story!!
If you've got that black bar at the front you want to run that through to the back so black/dark dark grey wheel centres then a black gloss diffuser on the rear to finish it off :)

Back for a second time!!
OOooh that's nice, good choice my friend and welcome back to the zed fraternity :D

1988 BMW Dealership Left Untouched
Fascinating read :) I love stuff like this! I used to work at a strawberry farm as a supervisor in my student days over the summer and one year we were called to help push some cars from one barn to another. When i say "a few cars" what i mean was 7 aston martin DB5s dry stored under dust sheets and 3 jag e-types and a couple of other ones i didn't see. Forfilled a childhood dream to sit behind the wheel of a DB5 and an e-type! :hyper:

Well just wrote the front end off
Cheers buddy, i did spot that but at this moment in time i can't afford £150 anyway and for less i should be able to get a fiberglass builder to repair it all being well. It's going to be a bit beyond me to get it all off without destroying everything!

Final push for JAE!!
Great stuff mate, hopefully see you there! :hyper:

Well just wrote the front end off
Cheers for the offer buddy, unfortunately it's those fibreglass zcentre vented wings (venoms?) on the passenger side. Hopefully it's salvageable as it's just the front that's fractured not the entire length but i need to really take it off to get it to fit properly

Well just wrote the front end off
Cheers guys, it's the old NA. The V8 is SORN and being stripped for parts when i get chance. It still drives fine and nothing's flapping but just looking at it the front bumper is beyond repair - because it's fractured as well as split it's lost its shape and actually bent (if fibreglass can do such a thing!) :( The wing is totally f***d but repairable, indicator and fog light are smashed beyond repair but luckily have a spare set of both. I'll pop the V8's bumper on for the time being and try and straighten the wing mounts back into place tomorrow night when i get back but should be alright for JAE all being well unless i find anything bad underneath

Well just wrote the front end off
Coming up to the A444/A5 junction for the 300th time today the guy in front started to pull out with his wheel past the line, i looked right and kept going, he'd stopped and went straight into him :headvswal He's not taking it any further but i've now go to sort out my old silver NA. Split the lower bumper, pulled the wing away from the side and bent the light bracket slightly. Overall, it's fixable and hasn't damaged the metal part of the car but the wings are bonded in so means taking the side skirts off to rebuild the wing and probably near on £400-500 to repair and respray and by that point it's a case of is it worth respraying the whole car. Ah well, on with work but i should have the parts to patch it back together Friday night so might just make it to JAE on Saturday.

My NA with a carbon bucket seat and stock rear tyres holds the record for fastest NA LWB pulling a 14.7 quarter with a 97mph top speed. That's without nitrous, jim only bettered it by .2 with nitrous on when it ran like crap. You'd be suprised when you get to that sort of level how hard it is to knock .2 of a second off! I went from 15.4 with a fully laden car and fat tyres, stripped out the counterweight and rear wiper motor, spare wheel, rear bench and seats and went for a carbon seat and after that hovered between 14.7 - 15.2 To get down to 10 seconds from 12.8 it's asking alot. Ratz was running a high 8 second quarter mile but that was 7.2 litres, nitrous and supercharger and weighed bugger all. If that weighed as much as a stock 300zx z32 it'd probably be running 11-12s

Twin turbo in gt40 replica???
Well i've got my 6.3 litre V8 complete in the zed up for sale - needs setting up properly but you'd save yourself a fortune. Solid roller comp cams setup, 750 CFM edelbrock carb, etc, parts cost me in excess of £12k but looking for £6k for the engine, it's done 200 miles and an almost new tremek tk500 fitted. It needs the oil bypass plug fitting and a sender relocating and that should solve the problems i was having. Starts and runs on the key! Drop me a PM if you're interested buddy

BTW a good idea to experiment with tyre pressure, higher on the front than standard then really drop the backs to get some bag in them and soften off the rear shocks to get some better launches. I tended to find 18-19psi worked for me on the old silver car and about 36 on the fronts. Two clicks from softest setting on the rear shocks gave it more bite
