  1. If you're still looking for one, i have a pretty new TT master cylinder lying around i think. I'll have a look tomorrow morning when i get back Nick
  2. Happy birthday buddy! :) Have a good one!
  3. Manuals are very hard to come by as they never made one :D (apart from the xkr-r (which they never released) Plus tbh i would pull all the wood out and get it painted piano black anyway :)
  4. After a fair bit of thinking over the weekend i've decided i'm breaking and selling off the V8 + shell and all the parts off the TT. After driving one last night i'm looking at a 2003- Jag XKR Coupe - about the £10,000 mark for a 400bhp monster that drives as smooth as silk. Pistonheads have a nice silver one with the recaro black leather seats in for £9,995 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3130264.htm
  5. The new version of outlook on mac osx uses pst files which is pretty useful. There is some way of doing with with endura light and thunderbird but i can't remember the exact process but it's definitely covered on google quite a bit
  6. I am very VERY jealous right now - love those cars and didn't even know they did something that looked like the V8 with the diesel in! Added to my autotrader garage now...
  7. Hello buddy, can't do it at work but you can count on me when I get back tonight, hope you're well as can be mate and hopefully catch up with you at some point soon :) Nick
  8. Cheers guys, went straight from work to yoga then on to a nice meal with my parents then the pictures :D
  9. I started yoga last week as the company next door emailed to ask if we fancied joining in. The instructor is brilliant and believe me when i say it works out muscles you didn't even know you had! You'll find you're incredibly energised afterwards but totally de-stressed :)
  10. Cheers guys - at work today but going out for lunch with the guys and out tonight with the family :D
  11. Happy Birthday fellow birthday sharer type dude :D
  12. Amazing work buddy, puts up bodgers to shame
  13. I found once i'd used the cream for a few weeks they disappeared buddy :tt2:
  14. That's a stunner - so sorry to hear you've sold it buddy :(
  15. Jesus. that's going that's going to be a pain in the bum to keep clean! Very impressive! :D
  16. Firstly apologies, I hadn't forgotten about you. It's been a hectic summer with the problems i had that ended up finishing off the V8 project for good but i'll fill you in later on that. As i replied to Ian in another thread I haven't had a chance to organise anything so i was thinking get the summer out the way then sort something out finally. So if you guys are free bonfire night weekend (bonfire night falls on the saturday) we could have a meet up on the friday or sunday for a bbq? Let me know if that's good for you and if not we can shuffle dates around a bit. Cheers again for you help guys :) Nick
  17. Love these cars and that hard top looks ace :D
  18. I bet you're glad you didn't after getting £600 back
  19. Great news buddy, well done on a result there :D Just out of interest did the vinegar trick work in the end?
  20. Haha, that's true i could do it through my iphone :D
  21. I'll have a go with this later on, annoyingly i don't have touch screen on my pc at home but we have a couple of machines in out department so i'll give it a go on one of them :)
  22. I've got a carbon fibre bucket seat you can borrow if you want to shed some serious poundage, taking both seats out and the spare in the back will make a bit difference. As other have said, drop the tyre pressure - it makes a massive difference and make sure you get to the start line first. It gives you the advantage you have longer to get the car set up to go rather than rushing it and fluffing your start. On stock tyres you won't get any benefit by smoking them for 2 minutes, a quick spin up to get the surface warm and coated in glue then get set up at the starting line pre-staged, staged, handbrake up, as he pulls up tense the driveshaft by holding the handbreak up, button in, clutch up till it's biting then soon as you see the ambers 2 from the bottom, drop the handbrake and off you go. It depends on which xmas tree lights they're using, most of the time it's red, all the ambers then green but sometimes they'll light each amber up individually before green so watch the guy in front. I always found 3 clicks from soft on the back tyres, 18 psi in the tyres, 2000rpm launch on road tyres. Any more and you'll start bouncing off the line and lose valuable time. Also get down and watch which side is getting a better start, you'll find the pro drag cars are launched in one lane so that side will be less dusty and more sticky from all the rubber and glue. It can give you a massive benefit. It's usually the right hand lane at santa pod Hope all that gives you a few pointers buddy! :)
  23. Whoops sorry, for some reason i'd got it in my head it was a delimiter you needed  Drop me a pm buddy
  24. Hello buddy, the box i thought was a delimiter was actually a kmh to mph convertor :( Sorry mate, i'll have a hunt round the boxes and see what else i can find
