Cheap zed.... Is this for real ?
That really annoys me when you search for some cheap cars then you get them that do that and you end up having to wade through the ones that say "sorry it's actually £15600 not 1560!" along with the ones that say 110 miles not 110,000 miles

So my Saab nightmare goes on
This is just naff to the highest level, really sorry to read all this hun - it's a pain in the bum when you get people like this who have no problems ripping people without a care in the world :( Hope you get it sorted soon :)

totally gutted.
I'm going to be scrapping the shell from the TT breaker and it's in cracking condition with virtually no rot at all (gutting really it has to be junked) so if you need any patch panels cutting out let me know and i'll angle grind them out after i've removed the engine. Would be far easier to weld in the correctly shaped panels than try and patch in with plate steel?

Yep, imported it last year. It was red before then they sprayed it yellow. Nice enough car but he's struggling to sell it. SWB, Manual, Targa top for £3k

It was a cracking evening, i didn't realise my bro's mates were coming too so when i'd caught up with them you'd gone lol It was good to see you too buddy, been a good couple of years! I'll be back next month so i'll catch up with you then - hopefully i might have had time to tidy up the engine bay enough to dare open the bonnet this time! :D

Electric bicycles
The last thing i need is another project right now - it looks like a scrap yard round mine at the moment! Just trying to find a way to save money and get fit this moment but i haven't got the fitness to cycle that far a day at the moment and every penny counts right now while i try and sort out my finances/get a zed on the road finally. I've looked whether it's worth buying a new super efficient small car on finance but when you add up how much it'd cost to buy in the first place it's not worth it. Tried finding other jobs that pay as well a bit closer but the best i've found saves me £170 a month but my salary is capped by £5k compared to sticking where i am now.

A very proud father
Great news buddy, well done to you both :)

Electric bicycles
Has anyone got one or tried one before? Just i'm commuting 25 miles a day each way to work and weighing up if there's any way i can save any more money. I'm spending about £50 a week going to and from work so potentially a £200 a month save if i invested in a bike. I used to be able to cycle 35 miles a day without trouble but i think 50 might just be a bit too much for a fat old man like myself  I've been looking at the conversion kits and reading the word of mouth from a few people that run this guy's bikes and the feedback is good. Add to that the range is 25-40 miles and i can charge the battery up under my desk during the day and it sound like a reasonable idea to get fit and save some money while i'm at it. http://www.alienbikes.co.uk/page14.htm

NEWBIE 1st OWNER QUESTIONS
fpmsl  Best quote on this forum for a while  If you want a luxury cruiser that's comfy and devastatingly quick a TT LWB Auto is your answer. If you want a bit more control over the gears and plan on spending more time thrashing round the country lanes then a manual is your way forward. I had a TT auto for 2 years and it was an absolute hoot, i did several track days manual shifting with overdrive off and it was great. Who needs manuals!?! :)

Zs gone for MOT
Good luck buddy, usually sills on them and various bushes. Give me a text back when you get a chance about this weekend mate

Which gearbox type do you have ?
Tremek TKO500 box on the back of my chevy block in the V8 and a standard manual TT one on the breaker :)

E-bay chancer
I had the opposite happen with my old TT. Guy won it in a last minute bid, came to view the car then stopped answering his calls. Turns out he'd been on here and seen a few threads about the car (about stuff i'd paid to be fixed admittedly) and changed his mind despite the totally honest listing with any faults listed. Ebay ended up deciding i should withdraw the item and relist it and issued a refund of fees and he got away with a silent strike to his name. Unfortunately although legally binding you'll not get the car at that price and you'll end up with a refund and he'll have a silent strike against his name but no negative feedback
