bhp question
Because from all the information I have been reading lately in prep for my own build it would seem to be advisable to upgrade rods and pistons for RELIABLE hp gain as requested in the op here, granted the stock rods and pistons are of good quality for stock parts, but how many miles have they covered already? And all of a sudden the power has been jumped up considerably and you expect it to last any reasonable length of time? granted the stock setup probably can make that power, but can it do it as RELIABLY? and I didn't suggest replacing crank. in my opinion it's a waste of time and money to push a worn engine beyond its comfort zone. Spend a bit more money for long term peace of mind and happiness.
