If you google In-service vehicle emission standards it will reveal all Joel.- Next step
It's all governed by the date of first use, so what the v5 says governs mot criteria.- Next step
yeah it's a late 1996, it's all on the mot vts now so it can't be argued.- Next step
Respect to the person who left z32 off the database  Shame mine is 1996 :headvswal- Next step
Pre 92 vehicles are non cat test, from 92 to August 95 a cat test DOESNT apply as z32 is not on database, 95 onwards cat test will apply So removing a cat on a zed upto 1st August 1995 is not a failure as only vehicles requiring a full cat test (not z32) are required to have one fitted.- Master Clutch Cylinder
Get a genuine rebuild kit from z centre mate - Next step
The z32 isn't on database regardless of uk or import. As long as the vts gives us a date of first use which it does 99% of the time we can easily identify its emission limits.- Next step
What's the relevance here mate?- Next step
No variation here mate, pre august 1995 is non cat test on a zed.- Next step
I correct myself here, pre August 1995 is non cat test figures. Just not my zed sadly:thumbdown:- Next step
Correct as usual. database details are irrelevant, date of first use is the governing factor here- New UK supplied rear diffuser
some people might like that diffuser, we all have our own likes and dislikes, but for me the twinz is the better choice, must fit mine soon - New UK supplied rear diffuser
Think it looks like typical fleabay crap, doesn't fit the body shape anywhere, looks Chav!- for those looking for a zed...
I see, mine is a late 1996 N reg with black tweed and 300ZX on seats. Come on funkysi, share your wisdom!- for those looking for a zed...
Why should it not have tweed for this year?- Car cover!
I f****n hate seagulls with a passion! :2guns:- Car cover!
I have one of these too, fits very well and is soft inside, mainly use it during summer months after I have waxed the car before a meet or show, keeps it clean and bird crap free overnight.- New Speed Cameras
This fellow gets around the world more than Judith Chalmers!- for those looking for a zed...
That rust below fuel cap certainly isn't a failure, an advisory would be fair here.- Another new member alert!
I agree- 1998 n/a
Thanks Paul, a series 4 then I believe.- 02 sensors
Fairly simple device is the O2 sensor, not really vehicle specific other than wiring location in multi plug and multi plug shape, simple sensor and a heater, until you go up into the wideband group of sensors some of which actually have valves built into them to allow the sensors to breathe, some older sensors used to breathe up the wire insulation so splicing wires together wasn't wise, it's fair to say any O2 sensor will work as long as it's wired correctly and it's voltage signal is in sync with what the ecu expects to see.- 1998 n/a
Si you seem to know your stuff about model years etc, out of interest what series is my 1996 going to be?- Current availability of Z32s
These cars are definitely worth looking after and hanging onto now, each winter claims another zed somewhere, which is why I don't use mine at this time of year, I had no end of disappointment looking for my zed last year, ended up buying a NA auto which is opposite to what I was looking for but it's condition age and mileage meant I just had to buy it, slowly I will get it where I want it to be performance wise, a solid original rust free zed is becoming a very rare thing. need to go and make sure my zed is warm and cosy now :whistling: - Next step
