I never got to meet Mandy, I was at Coventry and remember looking at zebedee but didn't know who owned it, it was my first club meet and was still finding out who was who on the forum as you do. I did wander off into town for a bit and round the museum so I think I missed the award bit. Anyway just reading the things that have been written here about Mandy just proves the kind of person she was, I can honestly say I had a tear in my eye reading these posts. Family,friends, and loved ones do get taken from us all........ Memories are forever......... My deepest sympathy to all...

Done a conversion on mine too, I'm a mechanic so done it all myself, I nice job to do I think, and well worth the effort! Totally different car with manual box, I know of a manual zed being broken with all the parts still there for a conversion.

That company are A holes to work for, my mrs used to work for them, but that said any job is better than no job. sorry to hear about the funeral pal.

Exactly mate AMBER is required now here's the clever bit, how "Amber" is "Amber"? There's no definition of Amber in the testing guide. Now then- your indicators aren't red or white so they are amber enough for me. I'd pass them no problem. And so should any other tester. :thumbup1:

There's many things that could cause your running fault mate, as it's an intermittent fault it's possible it's electrical First off check all your ignition coil and injector connectors are making good contact It's a good idea to have the engine idling and go around the engine multi plugs and do a wiggle test,this can sometimes show up a poor coil connector off example. But as said there is many reasons this is happening, but one step at a time. Is the judder in your third paragraph a vibration through the body of the car or more like a misfire?

This is a pic of a merc c220 I had in today for mot. Check out the brake pad The owner fitted these himself and didn't even wonder what the loud grinding noise was! Needless to say he didn't leave with a pass

I love the way the extensions have been continued into the doors, gives a real unique custom look rather than some FRP panels nailed over the rear quarters. :thumbup1:
