  1. Dude, it's disguise cladding. Found on many test cars when manufacterers want to keep some of the identity from the prying eyes. You can't even see much of it as 2/3s of it is covered in cladding. What we can see looks quite nice, although until you see it in the flesh and uncovered I'll not give my full response. Liking the 99-spec spoiler fitted to it though! I remember seeing photos of the RX8 before it's launch, yet when you see it on the roads it looks so bland and non-descript.
  2. Are they for a V12 by any chance?
  3. Let me take one guess.....not the Z32...
  4. I need some new porn DVDs. Especially since winter's just round the corner.
  5. Shame by Zed's gonna be in the paint shop then. I'd have loved to have been able to go to this.
  6. Gutted mate. Mine's pretty much off the road now. Half of the exterior trim is stripped down ready to be sprayed.
  7. I'd put it at the back. If you're going to be taking it steady, then power shouldn't be an issue. Safe steering of the vehicle is.
  8. Looks nice. Interesting home made dashboard. I've seen a few with the RB26DETT engine which I do prefer. :)
  9. LOL @ the school girls. Remember the sexy college girls in the mini-bus when we took mine for a test drive??
  10. 3/4s of it is speeded up. lol
  11. You've probably lost that large counterweight that's bolted to it. Probably easier to get a replacement.
  12. 2nd hand driveshaft time?
  13. That's pretty good results. All fairly even. What's the mileage on the engine?
  14. My bad, they are cheaper.... click Here MJP sells them.
  15. They are sided though. Left and right are different. Thought they were closer to £150 each.
  16. Agree totally 101%. It's logic too. You've got no oil at the top of the engine when starting from cold, the best way to get oil up there is to drive it. Oil won't get up to the top end as quickly if it's just sat at idle. I'll leave mine to idle a bit if I've used boost before I turn it off. But I tend to plan ahead a few miles and drive in vacuum, so that when I do come to park the car, 20 seconds of idling is all really, if that, almost none if I've driven off boost for the last few miles. But usually takes about 3 mins of idle to get the car back onto the drive and into the garage. PMSL @ the person that leaves it idling for 10 - 15 mins on startup.
  17. Doesn't sound that expensive. A new handbrake cable isn't expensive and if you've got play in your HICAS arm, they're not that expensive either. Rear bearings are about £150 though, but it may not be that. Do you get play laterally as well as horizontally? Does the wheel sound rough when turned?
  18. I turn my lights on during the day if the visibility either degrades or it becomes dull. Volvos and some Saabs always have lights on, think it's law in Sweden. In the US, a lot of cars have running lights.
  19. Weight and the added stiffness. I personally would not go for one as I love the t-tops. But those who really use their car and have the slicktops love the benefits of what I've stated.
  20. It's the effect the road surface has on the handling in relation to tyre width and track. It's the pulling motion you feel through the steering as you drive over irregular surfaces.
  21. Zonda = :hurl: A pretty ugly car if you ask me. The back end being the worst. From some angles it's quite nice and has a nice stance, but it's not attractive. Even has 'First Bus' rear lights.
