  1. Been Dolphin watching off the Coast of Georgia. But never swam with them. I nearly got the chance in San Diego as I met up with a group of girls that worked at the huge Sea-World centre there.
  2. Bit of chrome as well. Can see where you're coming from Anna.
  3. BTW Steve, there's a lovely 95 model for sale from Import-ance. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=82166
  4. I'd say series two onwards as Nissan dispenssed with the tweed and added an electric PAX seat. Doesn't bother me so much as I will be changing my interior at some point. Series 3 had a nice spoiler than the original series 1 rubber/foam composite one. Later models had a 4 speed fan. All other info can be found here.... http://www.300zx.org.uk/mod_comp_0.htm I'd personally say that no one model is really that better. I'd go on the best condition one available as changes are so small in relative terms. Choice model is the 99-spec though.
  5. So the car on the MOT certificate...is a 300ZX? Does the VIN on the MOT match yours as stated on the v5?
  6. That's really strange. Maybe they registered 2 Zeds at the same time. I've just read back through some of your posts to see where you got the car. World of Cars or something in Birmingham? Seem to have a 'reputation'. Anyway, won't go on about it. Call the DVLA then call the place you got it from and tell them what you're doing.
  7. So which didn't check out on the DVLA Database? Your car reg or the MOT?
  8. I'd suggest it 'could' be forged...or there might be an innocent reason. BUT the whole reason for the new E-MOTs was to stop things like this happening as everything is on a central database linked to the DVLA. Contact your local DVLA office ASAP as you're driving around at the moment with an illegal vehicle.
  9. Exactly, which is why it 'could' be suspect as his is an E-version.
  10. ...if it doesn't recognise it, then I'd suspect the MOT that you currently have. Notify the DVLA imediately as your car is not MOT and therefore not insured.
  11. I'd give the DVLA a call and get it checked out. Have a look on the DVLA website. Type in the reg number and the make/model and see what it gives you. Click here
  12. If it was done with the new MOT system, then I'm suprised that it actually managed to process with the wrong reg number. Unless there's another Zed with an almost identical reg to yours.
  13. I'm actually up for this, but not at the moment. Deffinately in the summer.
  14. How many gearboxes has that car had now? Must be on its 3rd or 4th.
  15. I think Bristol, Grinnall, Ginetta and Caterham still remain. Although Ginetta haven't launched a car for years and haven't sold any for some time. Not sure what the state of play is with them.
  16. LOL, even that thing uses Nissan diesel engines!
  17. Cool! Get some more up...or full up your 'rides' section. :)
  18. That's awful. The car from behind, litterally looks like it's wearing a skirt.
  19. Would be good to catch up again. Cheers Richard. :D
  20. Thanks Richard! Let's hope we can meet up next year sometime when it's all as good as I can get it. Would like you to see it after being there when I bought it.
  21. I think everyone's being fine. I'm sure lots of people are biting their tongues...I am and it's feckin' killing! ;)
  22. Just realised how filthy that rear bumper is. I had to drive a few miles in the rain! I nearly cried. :(
