  1. I love the arches on Faisel's. I think if I was building one, it would be to have arches like that. But I like the ones on Stellaz, but would deffinately do away with that little hole.
  2. Martin Brundle just interviewed him and was just saying to him 'where were you? You just missed the presentation to Schumacher from Pele'. To which he replied "I'm sure I'll live"...there was a pause and Kimi then said " hehe, I was having a shit". Moment of the season that was!! The guy holding the boom was struggling to hold his laughter back. Anyone see this?
  3. No.... Deffinately. My sentiments exactly. :)
  4. ...even worse! A Boxster MX-5
  5. How about this then....an MX-5 trying to impersonate a Z3!!???! It's liking taking a Fiesta and trying to make it look like a KA. Z3 is a horrid looking car anyway, the MX-5 was not only better looking, it's more afordable and I prefer the driving position in them. For the cost of this conversion, it would be cheaper to go out and buy the flabby looking Z3 in the first place. It's almost convincing to the untrained eye, but it serves no point what so ever.
  6. ...have you replaced your wing and bumper indicators yet for clear ones?
  7. Looks great. Best lights bar none. Makes a nice clean and crisp freshen up of the rear end doesn't it. :)
  8. Would be nice to think, but prices will decline more I think. There are still far too many sheds/neglected/poorly modified ones about that the price will drop still further. Although prices of nasty ones do appear to be pretty low. Prices of good ones will still drop a bit I think. Think the cars are some years off from making a price raise.
  9. Oh yeah, I wouldn't say modded ones look good, but restored GSis with a set of Allessios and an XE/LET under the bonnet and it's a great little car.
  10. To be honest, most have turned into the ferrous meterial from whence they came. They are quite old-skool now, bit like the MK1 Astra and Manta, so a lot are now getting rebuilt rather than chavved up. The Chavs have moved onto the Corsa. But anyway, here's one you might like.....
  11. LOL, you don't need to chav up a Nova. There are enough of them on the roads to laugh at as it is.
  12. Oh, I'll throw the wild card in now and I'd have one of these over an M3 any day. Ok, so they're not to everyone's taste and there's a lot of badge snobbery on here, but the Monaro VXR is a hooligans car. That LS2 6.0 V8 is an absolute Gem. Again, these come fully loaded, are exceptional value and the motoring press loved them. Little bit out of the price range, not by much. The 5.7 is within the price range, but the VXR will be down to around £18k - £20k by early next year.
  13. Tell you what, I bet you'd get more questions and interest about the Z than you would about the M3. Everyone knows the M3, the Zed is more of a talking point. I got chatting to a guy in the local petrol station a few weeks ago who had a new 6 series. He commented me on how nice my Zed was. So all is not lost.
  14. By the way. Good M5 manuals can be had for about £10k. That leaves you a few grand spare to get those 19" BMW rims pictured above, a nice exhaust and some other bits and bobs. They come with absolutely everything as well.
  15. You said you wanted something to take clients round in. A 2 door M3 isn't really going to be much less practical than a Zed though.
  16. Ok, so I like the E46 M3. Does look nice. But have you also considered an M5? I find the 3-series as a whole a little 'common' if you catch my meaning.
  17. LOL, half the Zeds on this forum aren't even running! ;)
  18. What are you talking about? If it's the 8-series, then I bet you bottom dollar there are far more shagged and minging/barried up Z32s than there are 840/850s.
  19. I actually looked at an 840 before buying the Z32. It was on one of my top 3. That, the Z32 and a Z28 Camaro. I chose to buy the Z and leave a few pennies in the bank for a rainy day...like you, I've had a fair few rainy days, but I've gone too far with it now. Owes me too much and I am looking forward to getting stuck in and making one of the cleanest examples I can.
  20. Takes lambda readings.
  21. Awwwwwwwwwwwww, they're lovely! Timing's not good at the moment. When I've sorted a new place out, then I'll start looking for a cat. Love the two tabbies. Cheers though.
  22. No more than a Z32 IMHO
  23. Fantastic car, but I'd sooner go for an 840/850 and stick a supercharger on it. Much nicer looking and rare car.
  24. I love cats, hate kids though. Have had a few cats. Want another really.
  25. Go to the Cats Protection league and adopt one. It's nice to give an unloved cat a home. Not to mention that they have had all their jabs too. http://www.cats.org.uk
