LOL, you don't need to chav up a Nova. There are enough of them on the roads to laugh at as it is.

true about not needing to chav one up. But then I have to admit I havent seen one in a while.

To be honest, most have turned into the ferrous meterial from whence they came. They are quite old-skool now, bit like the MK1 Astra and Manta, so a lot are now getting rebuilt rather than chavved up. The Chavs have moved onto the Corsa.

But anyway, here's one you might like.....

ive got a free car which is a nova 1.4 i for caz for her first car. im going to tidy it up for her. some novas do look quite cool when done up properly imo.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't say modded ones look good, but restored GSis with a set of Allessios and an XE/LET under the bonnet and it's a great little car.

for a new drive a let engine is a bit to powerful imo. yes fast but totally unsuitable for a novice!.

its going to reamin standard just so she can get her no claims buit up and cost down.

MKI Astra GTE  That really was the beginning of the hot hatch IMO along with the MKI Golf GTI.

Those GTE's were so damn impressive though!

my favorite is the mk2 astra gte 16v i made a chice between that and the cav sri saloon 8v. the cav won purly because of the prices of astras at the time. tbh the cav was the most reliable car i ever owned! still pulled strong at 155k miles.
