importing a z from japan
Hi and Welcome. Wouldn't bother going down that route, buying blind is always a bit of a gamble, especially these 15 year old cars. You're better off buying one from the forum or using our very own 'in-house' Jap car importer. Currently, he has this lovely example for sale.... but I'm sure if there's anything specific you want, pretty sure he'll accomodate your needs. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=82166

I knew they were quite a bit more expensive in Europe, but not as much as this. 25,000 Euro...that's about £16,000 http://cgi.ebay.de/Nissan-300-ZX-Twin-Turbo_W0QQitemZ140042902822QQihZ004QQcategoryZ9801QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem This Auto with nearly 100,000 miles on it is just under £10k! http://cgi.ebay.de/Nissan-300-ZX-Twin-Turbo-Automatik_W0QQitemZ330031422016QQihZ014QQcategoryZ9801QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

R34 GTR MFD in a 300zx?
They are about £400! Plus you'd have to get them all plugged in and calibrated. You're better off buying a Carputer, LCD screen and running ConZult off it.

Interesting, but rather horrid, Z32 bodykit from Japan.
Here's a translated version via google god. http://www.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aeromaster.jp%2F&langpair=ja%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF8 So the part is actually only ¥26,000 which is about £120!!

300zx = One of the 25 most beautiful cars ever made
If it didn't have the Nissan badge, I'm sure people would feel differently about it. It's the same with people struggling to come to terms with the fact that Skoda are now rather good. Nissan make miserable and hateful looking cars. The thing is now cheaper than a high mileage Mondeo, they are not as cherished as more expensive marques and there are some horrifically badly modified ones out there as well as some in appalling condition which give people a totally different perspective on them. If it were badged as a Masserati, or even a Lotus, I'm sure with its heritage backed kickstart, it would give more of a heads up.

Fitting 99 spec rear lights
Makes a difference though. Only looks like half a job otherwise.

Has anyone had custom mats made for their Zed?
Sorry bud, not my bag. I'm after velour type matts.

This looks rather nice.... Just a clip on addition to the front bumper...

Just hunting through some Japanese tuning shops and came across this. It's turned the Z32 into a giant FTOfrom the front... lol The back end isn't much nicer either. Those rear lights remind me of a spider. Then there's this, not too bad, but reminds me of the Porsche 911

The whole car looked lovely in the flesh. You just need to get yours sorted which is probably flat and misserable. That Zed just glowed and looked even better in the flesh as all pearls/metallics do.

Spray tint
T-Pot#s is deffinately my favourite black Zed at the moment...oh, tell ya what, RainbowZed has tinted rear lights and they look neat on that, but that's because he's gone for a black/silver colour scheme and it all compliments everything.

Fitting 99 spec rear lights
Brake fluid's good too...but there's the issue of it being just a 'little' carcinogenic!
-
Spray tint
...to add, I quite like tinted standard lights. But I think the only colour it works well on are black ones. If anyone's seen T-Pots car, they'll know what I mean. Looks fantastic.

Spray tint
I've always thought the large rear lights, especially in 99-spec format look futuristic. Fitting anything else is like going backwards.

Need to sort the paint on my car
Obviously you've never seen MAC 1's car then. lol Also Yami has a SWB N/A wide arch Strosek kit and Bee Gee Vinz has a blinged up LWB wide arch.
