I'd consider a rusty white UK Zed to be a shed...rhymes too. ;)

calibra
The cars are fine for what they are. Had good reviews about them when they were launched. The XE equiped cars wheel spin all over the place. I had a Cavalier GSi as a daily runner and it did the same. They are basically the same as the Calibra as the GSi shares the same rear IRS suspension set up. Wack a set of good quality lowering springs on it (I had H&R on mine) and it makes a huge difference. Mine handled very well. I do miss the car as well. Only real problems with the cars are the chassis. Rear chassis rails rot for a past time. You should be able to pick up a newer 2.0 8v or Ecotec equiped 16v for about £800 the chassis are better on the newer ones by quite a long way. Steer clear of the older ones unless in very good condition. The C25XE (V6 can be expensive to repair, although a pretty decent and nice sounding engine).

Venom 6 pot Vs 99-spec rears. You decide!
99...nothing comes close really. Keeps the Zedness about the car.

Considering a BMW M3
If I had the wonger, then maybe, just maybe I'd get one of these....just imagine what you could do with the spare cash..... Nice V8 Kompressor under the bonnet would make this an ubber sexy car!!! I love the 320CEs. Becoming old skool, but still very very cool. Sure, a totally different car than an M3 and you can't compare the two. But it would be fun to have a 500bhp V8 under the bonnet.

I bet an M3 drinks more than a TT Zed off boost! LOL ;)

Stripping car down and found some odds and sods that I'm unsure on.
LOL! One thing I've noticed...you can tell that various bits of it have been apart before. Slightly different poppers olding the arch liners on, the odd little screw missing. The whole door card on one side was secured in a different manner to the other..ie, the top buckle clamp wasn't even screwed to the door one side and one speaker in the front is totally different to the other! LOL Going to buy all new clips and bolts etc for the front, so it's pretty much factory standard. After taking the arch liners out and the front bumper off, can really tell the car's been well looked after. Not a hint of any nasties, looks really good and solid. Quite happy. :)

Fancy a shit? Use a train....
I guess when caught, the chap will claim that withdrawing his right to shit all over the seats, smear it all over the place and whiping his anus with an arm rest is all part of his religion! ....and human rights will be on his side! LOL

Nothing heavy, just wondered what they do. Door cards off, on the driver's side there's a small black box secured to the door. What does this do? Is it something to do with the central locking? It's on the outer part of the frame closest to the driver. Also, in both doors, there are two connectors that aren't plugged into anything.

Surely you must be able to use your noodle to find out where. Next you'll be asking where to buy petrol. ;)

Hehe! No, unfortunately not. Zed's in the bodyshop as from about 2 hours time. Then it'll go away for the winter. Planning on popping over to France in it in the Summer. Fancy a driving holiday next year. Meetup deffinately sounds like a good idea. I'll get the train up or something. You going back to the US at all soon? I love the Z scene over there.
