...there is one other thing I am going to do to the body, but not in a hurry to do it and that's have the roof pillars sprayed gloss black.

LOL! I'll take some vague pics maybe tonight. Don't want to do a photoshoot until the car's finished totally. I've still got the skinny JDM wheels on it as well, so it's not as flattering at the back as it could be. Glad you like what I'm doing. Other than a dust over, this is all the work I'm going to do to the body. I've got it almost how I like it. Just the last few bits. Suspension upgrade is going to have to wait until the spring and I've put the whole thought of a retrim out of my mind! LOL

Mmmmmmm, dunno. Would rather you see it when it's as good as I can get it. You know how picky I am. I might get a pic of the bumper later though. I'm waiting on the pin stripe too. I am so happy I went for the 99-spec rear. Looks amazing and dunno why I hesitated so much. Fitting my new perspex (with brakelight) rear later as well. So should smarten up the rear. Have new decals for it as well.

Looks like the Zed is going to have a full blow over. Got the car back yesterday. Bodyshop's done a fantastic job, but unfortunately, the pearl white paint is so old on mine, a decent match couldn't be achieved. The tailgate was a reasonable match, I guess it looks like my car's had some previous blow in work anyway and the paint on the top appears to match very well. It looked spot on under fluorescent lighting which is odd as it's usually the other way round. I considered having it blown in, but the paint on my car has discoloured quite a bit and want a nice crisp fresh look all over. The fresh pearl white is an absolutely lovely colour and far nicer than the old faided paint on mine. It’s such a shame that it needs doing as mine is in lovely condition. I’m confident with the bodyshop anyway, so that’s not an issue. The tailgate looks superb and the spoiler looks great on it. I kinda resided to that fact last night and just gotta find some money for it all now! LOL By the way, smoothed bumpers is the way to go. Such a nice and fresh appearance. I recommend it totally. Anyway, not going to put up photos until the lot's been done.

proposed 2007 national events
Cheers. Would love to get to some national events next year. Didn't make any this year. Didn't feel my Zed was up to scratch.

Any chance of having something more central as well? Everything is a 4hr drive for me as most of it's up near Silverstone.

awesomeness
That spoiler on K4$hs car, is it not a 99-spec spoiler with the legs removed and two ironing board frames bolted to it? Kinda like his car in a roundabout way but love the wide arch kit on the flucked up one. Deffinately my favourite wide arch kit.

Such a shame as if that Zed had a standard front and rear...with of course some corresponding bumpers in the style of the skirts, it would look lovely.

Yeah - look what postman pat delivered...
As above. Going boost jets initially, but would love a good controller.

Any pics if him and his crew? Fancy a giggle.

Shame he hasn't been online in 3 years. Does he still have that Zed then?

Sounds like a bit of a penile wart to me. Does he still have this car and hang out with his 'crew'?

See my sig.... ...also, the 'truffle shuffle' from 'The Goonies'. There are various other spin offs of this that people use in Avatars all over the globe which are generally quite amusing too.

Those with H&R springs, how much did you pay?
Because they are lower than Eibachs, but have a similar ride.

Tell us more about Kash.... Also, the blue zed, it's not the fact that he's chosen to change the front, it's the fact that in the process, he's turned it into a foul looking ba5tard son of a Talbot.

This will make you laugh, a friend of mine used to co-ordinate a B&Q call centre which catered for enquires about products bought from them. Some of the queries were hilarious and they were all recorded. This particular example, an old guy calls up, bit dithering on the phone and says he's bought a hedge trimmer but can't find the electric lead. He's at a lost cause. After a lot of ‘over the phone testing’, the old chap eventually reads over the product key for it, only for the phone operator to discover that what this chap has actually bought is infact a petrol powered hedge trimmer. Even after this is discovered, the old man insists there's a fault with it and wishes for them to send it back to have an electric lead fitted. Was absolutely hilarious to listen to as he just couldn't grasp what he'd bought and what he should have bought.
