  1. What was the reason for moving the battery out of interest?
  2. I prefer nothing on the dash. Wouldn't want to break up the swoopy lines. The best place is without doubt in one of the DIN slots. That's where I'd put them and would revert to a single-DIN head unit. A-pillar pods are not nice though - about as graceful as sheep klinker.
  3. For a genuine part? Not at all! One of the few things for the Z32 that doesn't cost the earth.
  4. Replace the polybushes. They look like old ones with closed cell design on the outer skin and will squeak like a *******, Jimmer sells high quality PU bushes with a hatched surface which will hold lubricant gel. Bung him a message. I personally steer clear of PU bushes where I can, but anything I've fitted have been supplied by Jimmer and they're good quality and haven't squeaked once.
  5. LOL! You know I was referring to it in its current guise! The thing is though, the current organisers promote it by advertising the following highlights and events - the main things....which are/were: Bouncy Castle, 5-a-Side Football, It's-a-Knockout and a Disco, I mean really....really? It's like something out of Phoenix bloody Nights not a high-profile national car show and now they want you to pay more!?! Granted, it looks like they've changed the website 'slightly' this year a little after looking at it, but to me, it looks as appealing as a Friday night at the local Gala Bingo hall with photos of people sat on a muddy Vauxhall Frontera and many people dressed as Mario...and an eating competition. Sounds and looks amazing.....NOT! There is a certain amount of 'it is what you make it', however, with the one dayers being far more interesting events to go it and a number of them being more local, I'll stick with that format rather than drive half way up the country, dedicate 4 days of my life to a grotty field in a campsite full of Civics and tatty drift cars with all the above listed amenities.
  6. Blue glass though!!
  7. I can't say I've ever had an ounce of interest in visiting this event. I have been involved with other clubs that did this sort of thing in my youth. It's a fun time for kids and young adults if you want to get trashed and make a lot of noise. These types of events, a bit like Japfest (although to a much lesser extent) tend to appeal to folks I'd rather not be associated with and cars that I have absolutely no interest in what-so-ever such as Honda Civics, Suzuki Swifts, Nissan Micras, Subaru Imprezas ad infinitum - row up row of them and traders selling nasty bodykits and cheap junk. As Lexx has suggested, it's the one day events that are gaining in popularity, of the handful I've been to, they've been really good, the mix of cars has usually been far better too as you get far more classic, old-skool and retro vehicles there. You don't have time to get bored and they're never expensive.
  8. This! I'm lucky that my door glass is virtually scratch-free - I'd never go anywhere near them with sand paper. Interested to see the results under different lighting.
  9. Twice the hate for the iphone!
  10. iphone shit! I hate this thing, it went wrong again over there! It will be replaced and NEVER again will I stray from Android!!
  11. Loads of birthday wishes, thank you!! Had a long weekend of it, not long returned from France after a bit of a fiasco with one of the ferry crossings being cancelled, but had a great time! I didn't take my Z as the weather going over was appalling! But did borrow a friend's 350z to drive around in! Great birthday and the weather over there was very nice!
  12. I'd never consider a tattoo, but I do like that design....probably moreso on a nice bit of paper. :)
  13. If you can, get a Quaife differential, that'll help put the power down even more. I drove an 875bhp 300zx TT drag car in the US last year and it had a Quaife, I was blown away by how much extra power the wheels could put down and safely with this. It really does transform the car. The regular Z I was driving there was a 600hp street car with the stock differential and it was a real handful.
  14. You want a bloody medal or something! :p haha Make sure you let me know when you're down at Jim's next!
  15. As above, it's unlikely to be that upright. The only 'wearable' part on that is the kingpin and they don't often wear out.
  16. and? You're always bloody miserable!
  17. I'm sorry, but that's funny!  :wack: :)
  18. Wow - all this effort and you can buy 'em for about 20 bucks! lol
  19. Even more of a reason not to like it!!
  20. Yes. The amber is not nice. Much cleaner:
  21. Hell no! TERRIBLE clash. First thing I did to my Z was remove all that nastiness.
