  1. That's what I was thinking, for £20, it's not even worth thinking about.
  2. The replicas look almost the same - that's why they're called replicas!
  3. Red nose panel is happening! :)
  4. I got red on my ones - I think they look good, but mine are BBS originals which have a slightly different design.
  5. All the seals split on those aftermarket clears. You're probably better off using the original seals from the OEM indicator.
  6. I'd say! I've seen a couple that they've done on Zs when I've been at Jim's and they both look very good. They can tune the sound pretty much to your heart's desire too rather than have to put up with cheap-sounding boomy exhaust.
  7. Infinity Exhausts do make nice systems. Quality materials and workmanship unlike people such as Powerflow etc who manufacture dowdy systems with low-grade materials.
  8. Shipping kills it. Weight and size will mean shipping and duty effectively adds another £300 to a £1000 system. Even cheaper ones will still weigh the same making it uneconomical.
  9. With all due respect, I think that's the problem in general for second hand Z32s in the UK irrespective of where you live - you HAVE to be prepared to travel and there are many out there that just aren't as owners describe them as. It's a pity really. Having said that, what one person might think is 'mint', others will think is a dog. I've seen very few that I'd consider 'mint' and rust-free. I've seen many adverts for cars where they state, "car is mint, except for a bubble of rust on the rear arches and stone chips on the front bumper", that's not 'mint' then is it! Or...."interior is mint except for the usual front bolster wear". NOT ****ING MINT THEN IS IT!!!!
  10. Nothing wrong with 19s at all. :) My LMs hardly look like 'a step too far'. Proportion is absolutely spot-on IMO.
  11. I quite like them, I saw one in Dallas a few weeks ago and it does look interesting, but as with Baz, it's a shame they didn't fit it with a V8, just a lowly SOHC V6 auto motor from an Intrepid (dull family saloon car for those that don't know). There have been a few V8 conversions around though, but it's quite difficult I believe as the gearbox is at the back and doesn't like V8 power all that much.
  12. You must be Great Grandad!
  13. A what now, spotty specky teenager?
  14. WTF is that miserable piece of shit hanging from your tow eye!?
  15. That's probably because they're 20s!
  16. TSW Bristol - http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_bristol.php I hated TSW wheels about 10 years ago, but they're making much nicer looking stuff now if you're on a budget. TSW Sochi look quite nice too - http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_sochi.php
  17. You should replace IMO - they're seriously unflattering IMO. They look ok in the photo Andrew posted, but it's obvious they are imitation split rims. What's your budget for replacements Steve?
  18. Round about a 30 for the front and a 40 for the rear. Depends on how low you are, your camber settings and tyre choice of course. I run a +38 on the rear @ 10" wide on the rearand I've rolled the lip slightly.
  19. In a word, no. You'll need to roll both your rear and your front to get those to fit, rear, especially.
  20. 1991 Vauxhall Astra Belmont SRi I bought this in 1996 - so not a bad car for a first car and had it whilst I was at University and was probably the quickest car in my Uni car park! I loved this car and I kept it pristine. Strangely, it's the same year as my Z, however, unlike my Z, I am sure this old booted Astra has probably long since turned into the ferrous ore from whence it came! Even took it to France - here it is at Cherbourg awaiting to take the ferry back to Portsmouth.
  21. I'm not really interested in longevity per se, as long as they do ok. I've run Bridgestone, Toyo, Yokohama and some other tyres on my Z over the years and the P-Zero have been my favourite.
  22. I've got Pirelli P-Zero and I've found them to be utterly fantastic. I pushed them right to their limits in southern France last year and they kept on gripping the harder I pushed the car. I ended up fitting P-Zeros on my daily too as I was so impressed with them.
  23. Regardless, offset is identical. Depends how worn your rear disks are and how much rust is on them really. They should be ok. You could get them spun on a lathe if you were worried. As for the cost of a full set of disks and pads - how long is a piece of string? You can get cheapo stuff or very expensive Brembo parts. It really depends on your budget. From the list of tyres you've put up, I'd go for the Michelin or the Bridgestone.
