I'm not taking sides here, but WTF? Where are there insults from either party?

OEM Parts? Where do you get them?
I'm friends with the guys at Z1 and push most of my orders through them.

The pods and centre consol look horrific, the pods especially. Who thought that would look in any way better? Made me laugh anyway!

I had thought it was a manual though....auto, but ask him also, I know he has got a nice TT manual which he may be keeping for himself.

Have a look at this car. I know for a fact that it's not long been in the country for very long, 4 or 5 months at the most, possibly less and the guy that imports them seems to get some nice imports over. He's on here, Josh Lake and on facebook, very nice chap. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300zx-Twin-Turbo-Fresh-Import-/111982189130?hash=item1a12a89a4a:g:jVkAAOSwQgpW~5mk

Why bother with UK clocks?
This might help you guys with your low-rent newer models. ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?166978

Zed in Portugal
At least it's unlikely to have rust on it Jeff! lol The best thing about most Z32s you see on the continent (and that isn't many), most of them haven't had half a ton of fibreglass junk stuck to them. :)

That car does have a steel-fabricated wide-arch though, so you'll unlikely get quite that look! lol

- Black Engine bays - Non-black exterior
Not especially. If you have good seals and headlight foams (I need to replace mine) and engine belly pans you should get very little in the engine bay - besides, I don't drive mine in the wet or in winter, so it's only fresh air that comes into the intakes.- Black Engine bays - Non-black exterior
Yeah, I do prefer body-colour engine bays. As you know with pearl and metallic painted Z32 engine bays, Nissan never put a mid or top coat to them. When I had my car painted, the engine bay just looked unclean, even after cleaning, so as a temporary fix, to smarten it up a bit, I did the bay black until such time as the engine needs to be removed. Unfortunately, Jimmer did such an amazing job of rebuilding the engine all those years ago, it hasn't needed to come out! I'm 'considering' upgrading the turbos next year, so it will likely get done then. I want Power Enterprise turbos! :)- So...what have I missed ?
In the SE you're lucky that you are part of a large conurbation and as a result, ownership will be higher. I used to go to winter meets, but would take my daily hack if the roads were wet and/or had salt on them. Enough people would turn up to make it worth my while attending anyway.- Black Engine bays - Non-black exterior
Excuse the arrow. It also looks a little cleaner in here now as I've had all the painted engine parts all powdercoated with new OEM fasteners. Eventually it will go white, but I obviously need to do an engine haul if I'm going to do it properly and that'll have to wait for a while.- So...what have I missed ?
Z meets were almost every month back then and we'd often get around 10 cars show up. It's a shame how much ownership numbers have dwindled and continue to do so, however the rate of reduction has slowed a lot in more recent times. The last big regional meet that I can remember was the Ross-on-Wye meeting in 2006.- So...what have I missed ?
Haha! Pleasure! I can't believe where the time has gone! I also can't believe how utterly shite digital camera footage used to be!- So...what have I missed ?
For those that don't know Dave, here he is in action 11 years ago - click on the pic to get the video (black Z). My car is there too looking a little different to what it is today, this was only a few months after I'd bought it. The other white Z with all the fibreglass on it is Black-Zed's old car....who used to be called White-Zed.- Gargling noise??
Yeah, they're probably full of water which is what gives the gurgling sound on idle (a known issue). Do an AIV delete and see if that helps. http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/137858.html- Gargling noise??
Do you still have your AIVs?- Why bother with UK clocks?
US models do indeed have MPH clocks, but they only go to 160. Good job UK clocks read in both MPH and KPH.- Simply japanese 2016!!!
That's right...well you can keep it then can't you! :wack:- A while away but one for your diary.
You really need to take your boxing gloves off dude. lol ;)- 6 years of faultless zedding
I think I have a spare switch here somewhere Scott that you can have....if it is the switch that's playing up. They don't often go wrong. - Black Engine bays - Non-black exterior
